Almost everytime I have ordered from this place it has let me down or manage to mess something up this time they decided to give me expired BBQ beans …. It goes to show this place has lack of health and safety food standards … dry burger and expired beans

I usually go there for lunch. I have tried almost everything, and they never disappoint. Taste is up to the mark with enough quantity of food. The meat is always properly cooked, unlike others cafes around.

I have been thier customer for more than ten years, ever since it was called Chicken Cottage. This place is famous for their mouthwatering fried and grilled chicken, both of which are very tasty. I feel that the taste of the food is getting better everytime I visit. The service in the restaurant is very good. However, the number of tables is small, compared to the number of visitors. In addition, the tables are not cleaned after each use, which causes inconvenience.

Ordered on ubereats. £11.99 for a burger, wings and chips. And another meal of chicken strips and poppers. Honestly what can I say... the chicken inside the burger was hard and chewy. The chips, oh my days don't get me started on the chips, honestly felt like they gave it no attention what's so ever. It tasted 5 days old. The chicken strips and poppers were overly cooked and burnt. The only thing that tasted average was the wings, again really hard but edible. Sorry if this sounds harsh but in this day and age with so many options available, people should not be scammed like this.

It was surprisingly good. Only place in London where i went again as experience was good. Grilledchicken with rice was very good and i will recommend. Service was great as well. Second time i found few burnt rice in it. Probably they have to work on the quality.

Best chicken in London!Great staff, with almost no waiting time. Perfectly spicy and affordable meals with lots of food for the price. I had the spicy rice box and boy was it good. For the cheap price i went away happy and well fed. (I even had to go back a few days later and get another spicy rice box, it was that good!) Here is a photo of said food (and a happy looking customer).

It’s wonderful to have deep fried chicken in the midnight. I would say the flavour is a little bit off to me due to the taste I used to have in my homeland. I personally prefer more aromatic with various spices and herbs. This one is more herbal to me, yet it’s still quite nice. All staffs and people show up in the night is kind, which is a plus to me as well. Next time I think I would learn how to appreciate it.

Okay - so, in the past year, their prices have literally gone up by 150%. Way above anything justifiable.There’s another comment about this person being a customer for ten years. I’m unsure what they were paying but I paid £6 for a combo meal which was a burger, fries, drink and a side box of chicken wings with beans/coleslaw on top.You don’t get that anymore but pay at least double the price you would have.It’s a rip off.
