Very busy on a Saturday lunchtime but after a short wait for a table we placed our order and food arrived promptly and was very nice.Sadly our drinks order wasn’t forthcoming, despite asking the waitress a few times, but arrived just as we finished our food.

Oh my goodness what a great find whilst out with my 2 year old today! The staff really couldn’t do enough for us, and even tailored a meal just for my little girl with all her favourite foods. Such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning!

Lovely independent cafe that serves the most amazing food! We popped in for a light breakfast. The scrambled eggs on toast were delicious and cooked to perfection. The veggie bap was also delicious, packed full of mushrooms, egg & tomatoes. The staff were very warm and friendly and the place is nicely laid out with a lovely decor. Well worth the visit and will definitely be coming again before we leave.

Just the loveliest little hidden gem in york ,me and my husband visit regularly ,the cafe is spotlessly clean staff are so friendly ,the foods just as you'd expect ,and scones to die for ! Felt lucky enough on a busy Christmas satirday to get a table as we thought it would be just too busy with visitors ,but we were so lucky to get a cosy table for 2 for a warm latte before escaping the craziness !!! Thank-you to the owner who males tou feel like old friends whenever we're in ,and for yesterdays kind gesture, Merry Christmas to you all x
