Fireaway Pizza Cambridge
Store - Rubbish pizza, bland flavourless base and cheap ingredients. To claim this is authentic Italian pizza, is laughable.Company - Clever marketing ploy, own merch and extreme hyper growth. Greedy toxic company, offering up cheap rubbish. Stick with one offs with a love for the craft (many in Cambridge Scott's being one) , brands like this deserve no place on our high streets. A quick visit to their social media, you can see young men in Balaclavas stood around sports cars, car giveaways, #firegang and boasts of how many locations in a little time they have. It stinks of disingenuous capitalism at its finest.Hope this clarifies it for you.

First of all, this is not a place for authentic Italian style pizza, there's plenty of places providing that in Cambridge. It's a chain Pizza place, more similar to chains like Domino's, so let me review it as such. This branch is the first in Cambridge I believe and opened a few months ago. We've ordered pizzas from it twice, and our experience was neither overly positive nor negative. They make the pizzas fresh and have a nice rotating oven, and the pizzas come with a nice garlic dip. When ordering and deciding to pick it up at the store, their time estimate has been pretty accurate. They offer a set of different pizzas, including dessert pizzas with Nutella, and an option to 'build your own' pizza by selecting the ingredients. The prices are pretty good. The two times we ordered, my partner's pizzas were fine but they were a bit too much for her. She went with one of the standard pizzas. I went for the 'build your own' pizza, which was less successful. The first time, one ingredient was missing, and the Rocket was put onto the pizza before it went into the oven. The second time I explicitly asked in the instructions to put the Rocket on the pizza after it has gone through the oven. I also removed one ingredient to reduce the complexity; the result was that still another ingredient was missing this time, and the Rocket was missing as well. Also this second time the pizza was extremely oily, see the picture. Both times I used the garlic base, it was not this bad the first time. All in all, after having given a second chance, I don't think I'll order here again. The pizzas are not bad in general, but they can't seem to get it right, and Domino's would be just as good and does offer smaller pizzas.Positive/negatives;+ Accurate time estimation for pick-up+ Pizzas baked in a nice rotating oven with real fire+ Regular menu pizzas tasted pretty good+ Nice garlic sauce with each pizza- Can't seem to get 'build your own' pizzas right- Unfortunately no smaller pizza options- Last time pizza was very greasy/oily

My daughter sent me a photo of a pizza and it looked absolutely DELICIOUS. She lives in London and I don't know where she got it from but I can say that if this place is as good as the photo she sent me of a pizza from her pizza shop then it'll be great, I don't know I haven't been to this shop. I added the photo my daughter sent me. Have a great time.

If I could give 0 starts I would. My partner got dinner through deliveroo last night 6th Sept and the food was terrible, we choose here because of the reviews on here and deliveroo but seems like they could be fake as what we received was disgusting, the pizza do was translucent in the middle it was so thin and soggy, the tandoori chicken tasted like it was off, peppers were very soggy as if frozen, and the general taste of the pizza was just foul. Also had Nutella pizza well this was a burnt crisp base with a small amount of Nutella drizzled on with no care or effort and the whole thing was dry like a crackerShe also got the chocolate filled rolls which again was just some Nutella stuffed in what taste like a stale biscuit, the homemade potato wedges" were in fact just boiled new potatoes hardly cut smothered in some overpowering herb and thrown in a microwave for a few mins. Seriously avoid this place it is disgusting!!"

I ordered pizza delivery to the local hospice, where I was staying with a family member. Despite giving detailed instructions on the order on how to deliver to me, the driver ignored them. Then, when I took my first mouthful of my Caprese salad (hardly prepped at all) I hit a stone in an olive (supposed to be pitted) and broke the side off my rear molar. It cost me £310 in emergency dental work the next day to have it temporarily repaired!!The pizza was actually quite good (if tricky to chew with a broken tooth). But my whole experience, which was my first time trying Fireaway, was coloured by the experience with my salad. If someone had taken more care to actually prep it, rather than just throwing listed components into the pot, then the pesky stone would probably have been removed before delivery.I don't think I will be ordering from them again.

Looking through the menu, I was quite surprised at the menu prices, circa £12 min for a 12 pizza that takes 2 mins to cook and really feeds 1 person as its made very thin so not much to it. Glad there were lunch time offers to take advantage of.The chicken wings were nicely flavoured
