Papermill Brewers Fayre
Came here for my birthday should have went elsewhere. Starters ok after waiting 45 minutes. Wasn’t that busy when I first got in and people who turned up after me was being served food before. I ordered just a prawn cocktail. Main was horrible didn’t eat hardly anything on the plate apart from chips. Didn’t bother with desert because of wait times. Server was great and apologetic. Will never return ruined my birthday evening, considering it was the first time I had been out for an evening in 3 years.

We stopped in for lunch, had the carvery. Really lovely food, the staff were really helpful, friendly and professional. Food was excellent value for money. The views out of the window at the hills really were great, it's a fantastic location. Good value. Will go again

We had great interactions and help from the young lad working, but unfortunately, one of the older ladies was definitely very abrupt. No BBQ sauce & food were okay. Drinks and food both took very long, and it wasn't busy at all. Wouldn't hold your breath.

Visited for buffet full English breakfast. Had to wait for plates before we could serve ourselves and they were cold when they arrived. No fried eggs, scrambled eggs or mushrooms, bacon and sausages drying out under a heat lamp. Mushrooms arrived after 5 minutes followed 5 minutes later by fried eggs and I was told scrambled eggs would be another 4 minutes so gave up. I would have expected to have all the items for a cooked breakfast available at the same time. There was no decaf tea but the orange juice was nice.

Came out for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Very good atmosphere. Great service from Karen. Super lovely and accommodating. We had two mains and then a few side dishes as a third meal. All of us enjoyed our food and will be back soon *thumbs up*.

Not a pleasant experience. Service was awful. Staff were rude. Food took an age to arrive and when it did I wished it hadn't. Steak was undercooked. I asked for rare but this was ridiculous. One side looked like it was walked passed a match and they forgot the otherwide altogether. Meal was comped, but frankly they should have paid me for the distress.My advice is to avoid...Will not be recommending to anyone.

We went there today for a first time not sure what to expect as we never been there but a older lady was so rude to us that she nearly kicked us out saying they are full and no food left to serve while it look like a plenty of food there and restaurant was half empty. Now while we do not know for sure regarding food left but no need to be rude to us. Definitely will not go there again.

A lovely day with the exception of one, serving member of staff who was quite rude to our host. That said, the remaining staff were excellent and couldn't do enough. Lovely carvery, and would like to return on a Sunday.

I attended with my 7 year old grandson who just loves to eat !!Parking was plentiful and easy to find.The eat as much as you want breakfast was the sole choice offering given at 10am arrival and lots of fresh food was on offer !The fact that the child goes free with a full paying guest is an added bonus.Lots of food...all fresh and tasty. Will attend again for sure.Friendly helpful staff are an added bonus

Amazing premier inn, probably the best one iv stayed in for a while, and I stay in a lot of them. Bought food up to my room as I had work today and it was packaged brilliantly.
