Don't rely on home delivery from oak furnitureland on your orders I order 4 chairs and 1 table they only turned up just with 4 chairs only vehicle check list not check by loaders why not ( waited 12 day's for delivery) will be taking chairs back to Swindon shop if my table has not arrived in the next 24HRS and get a refund of over Thousands pound plus

The worst customer service experience I have ever had. Ordered a sofa back in July 22 with a delivery date some time in September 22. A week before delivery I had a text to say the delivery had been cancelled and that I needed to reschedule, so I did, for the earliest time available, which was November. November came and a week before delivery the same text message came through to say the delivery had again been cancelled. So I rescheduled delivery for December (4 days before christmas) and the sofa turned up, but the left module was a completely different colour to the rest of the sofa. After a lengthy chat on the phone they agreed to come and swap the incorrect module for the correct one. The date was agreed and I have booked the day off work, and today the van turns up at my house... without my package. You genuinely couldn't make up a worse comedy of errors. Now I have been told that the earliest they can deliver the correct module is 14th February, almost 8 months after I placed the order. They are totally incapable of fulfilling orders and I am considering cancelling altogether and getting my money back .

I would not want anyone to go through the stress that I have been through with buying oak furniture. I bought £6000 worth furniture from the store in Swindon. The delivery was to come on the 13th August which did come. The 3 door cupboard had 3 major defects. I called the customer care and they said it would take 11 days before I got the replacement. Waited and finally they brought in the 3 door cupboard on the 24th of August. After the staff taking all the trouble to bring the cupboard inside our house they realised that the hanging rail was missing and the nut bolts were the wrong ones. The staff felt really bad and explained they couldn't help but I need to call customer care again. I did it next day and again went through the same rut of answering all the questions, send photos etc etc. The customer care have no solution except to say they are sorry. Spoke to 7 different staff and had to keep explaining again and again. Then said the hanging rail will take 5 wèeks and the nut boltswould get posted to me and will take 7 days. This was trying my patience. Since I had no option I agreed to it and asked to speak to the manager who never came on the line. I was then told I would get a new wardrobe. That new cupboard would get delivered on the 4th of September. As usual I had no option but to wait. Frustration just kept building up. Today 4th of September the third time the wardrobe gets delivered and again no hanging rail and no bolts. I really did not know whether to cry of shout. So helpless I called customer care again. The same story again. They said to me the they have order the rails and will come to the company on the 28th of September. I screamed at them, told them I will go legally but it did not bother them. I insisted I speak to the manager. After insisting and the staff asking me what I wanted to speak to her. She will say the same thing that they are saying. Manager come on the line. She just gave me 2 options. This is what she said. We can offer you £50 to go yourself and buy the hanging rail and the nut bolts and £99.99 as an apology. If I said no to this then I have to wait till the 28th of September. So with no option left I had to agree to buy it myself. I would never ever recommend Oak furnitureland. They are not at all cooperative. All they have to say is sorry but they don't have any customer satisfaction. Think a hundred times before you buy their furniture.

The one star is being extremely generous I would've given them zero if I could have posted this without any stars at all.We have spent over 5k with Oak Furniture Land over the past 7 years. We have had to replace the dining chairs due to the faux leather on one of the chairs cracking we had paid an additional amount for better quality faux leather but to no avail. These were only six years old and not used a great deal and we were told by staff at Oak Furniture Land that they only have a shelf life" of five-years and Oak Furniture Land could do nothing.We were quite prepared to pay for them to recover the chair but they could not do that.So we had to purchase 4 new wooden backed chairs from them to match the dining table. These were delivered in October 2022.One of the chairs has now turned black on part of the backrest -the other 3 chairs are fine. These chairs are not used a great deal only when we have visitors for a meal.Today we contacted Customer Services to see what they could do and were told that they would not be doing anything as it wasn't any maufacturing fault. The chair isn't 12 months old yet.Very very poor Customer Services not even suggested someone visit to ascertain what could be done. They have only looked at photos of the problem and then wiped their hands of the problem.I would suggest that if you are thinking of purchasing anything from this company think long and hard as there isn't any customer service when things go wrong.We have never felt so disgruntled and angry at how we've been treated.Not even a suggestion of what could be done to rectify the problem.They could have exchanged the chair the cost to the company would've been minimal as they are on sale at £99 for customers so what do Oak Furniture Land actually pay for them.It would have at least gone a long way to ensuring happy customers who keep coming back rather than unhappy customers who tell at least 10 times more people of their unhappy experience and comment on social media.We do intend taking this as far as we can to get some satisfaction but will not be purchasing anything from them again.We are now stuck with an unsightly chair which is not a good advertisement for Oak Furniture Land when people visit the house."

I am not very happy had my bed delivery last night with a very late delivery slot, they only gave me the rails, the rest of the bed is missing! I’ve contacted customer services she said they’ve put it as delivered and she’s going to chase it up with depot as to where my other bits are so I’m now having to wait for her to contact me back to arrange for delivery! We got rid of my bed 3 weeks ago and now have to continue to have sore back on a mattress on the floor until they sort this issue out

Appalling customer service, these people are all about making the sale. Firstly I was disappointed to find that the prices advertised aren't actually what you pay as you must pay for some sort of delivery. I have access to a van and was more than happy to pick up from store as to not pay for delivery but this isn’t allowed. I bought a bed for my first house and I was told that I could change my delivery date at any time free of charge if I needed to for whatever reason. When my completion date was pushed right, I went into store to have the delivery date changed; to which I was told that this wasn’t available with the standard delivery (despite being told that it was when I made the purchase some months ago) and that I would have to pay a fee to do so. I was told to call customer services (no offer of the store chasing this for me) and ask for a good will gesture. After being on hold for over half and hour, I was told that my delivery date had been delayed a further five weeks. To clarify, I ordered this bed in August and its new expected delivery date isn’t until late December. At no point was I notified of this. I felt pressure in the store to make a purchase and after being followed around the store, I had to stand around his computer while he constantly tried to add extra products which I didn’t want or need. He was also reluctant to answer questions regarding the product and the little information that he did give me was was not true (which only today I discovered). I noticed that other customers were given somewhere to sit and treated well, unfortunately this was not the case for me. I feel disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience and I would never shop here again. If I am paying premium prices, not only do I expect a premium product but I also expect half decent customer service. My expectations have not been met and I am still waiting for my delivery.As a follow up, my bed never turned up. They didn’t think to let me know but it had been completely missed on the delivery list for that day. The next delivery slot wasn’t for a further 4 weeks. I stayed on hold for 2 hours to get my money back. Do not shop here, they are a shambles!

Do not recommend.The staff in the shop are great - very helpful and knowledgeable.However, they are let down by the company itself which seems incapable of fulfilling orders.My original 12 week delivery time repeatedly delayed to over 6 months, with no reassurance that the order would be fulfilled even then. Ended up cancelling and going elsewhere - wish I'd done it sooner.Over half a year to fulfil an order really not acceptable.

Sale team are great! Delivery not so. Beware the late delivery slot!Delivery booked for 18.30 to 21.30! No show. The customer service team did ring at 8.30 in the morning to say that the drivers ran out of time!! Now being delivered this morning! I now have to ring up work and book the morning off. And for our troubles a £50 in store voucher, which I very much doubt will ever get used.
