Amazing cornish pasties, well priced. Friendly staff member serving us. Many options for pasty filling including beef chilli - Amazing! Many vegan options as well.

Lovely tasty pasties. But disappointingly poor service and confusion over the special offer of a free hot drink. My wife asked for 'two medium pasties, one cheese and onion, one curry, with the free hot drink offer' which on the face of it should have cost 2 x £3.99. She was charged just short of £13 and queried that, then was bamboozled with an explanation about the offer only applying to 'Cornish Pasties' and the vegetarian ones weren't Cornish Pasties. She confused us further talking about standard, medium and large pasties without explain the difference. We just wanted to get on and enjoy our lunch so just paid, took the two packed pasties and sat down. Wasn't told which is which.I started eating mine and soon realised it wasn't cheese and onion. It was a meat pasty! I'm vegetarian so this is not OK. The server came over with our tea at that point with a third pasty. She proceeded to explain her position again, loudly, in front of other customers.We felt embarrassed but had been poorly served, so explained again what we had asked for. She accepted we didn't ask for the meat pasty and took that away. She brought a refund of £1.79. But no apology.We felt unsettled by all this but ate our pasties (which were delicious). But the server started to comment about us to her younger colleague. We heard 'don't even know what a Cornish Pasty is'.The server was rude, unprofessional and unkind. She let down the good name of Rowe's. She seemed either to be in a bad mood or be anti tourist. Perhaps some customer service training would help.So sadly, we won't be returning and hope this review helps others choose their pasty shop.

Me and my dad had fantastic service at this bakery, grabbing two pasties on a deal for only £6! Our steak pasties were delicious and the options are clear, being in a heater at the counter. The setting is lovely inside with the Rowe's logo and a black-and-white Cornwall photo on the wall, suitably for the cleanliness!
