CrossFit Civitas

I'd been completely out of shape for years and was packing on a few pounds. I admit I was slightly nervous of booking on to the intro but knew I had to do something about my fitness. I needn't have been nervous. Kieran and Jon welcomed everyone on the intro, knew all our names by the end of the first session and you could already feel that it was a proper little community.Those first few sessions were by no means easy - but I was able to scale things so that I could get through it - and having the support of everyone there really helped.What really surprised me was how quick I started to see results though. I lost around 5 inches around my waist in the first 4 months. I went from being able to barely lift 60kgs on a back squat to lifting 0ver 100kg.I'd definitely recommend crossfit to anyone looking to make some positive changes to their life. Not only did I improve physically - but mentally it really helped to transfer that confidence into my every day life.

I’ve dropped in several times now and each time the WODs have been excellent and very enjoyable. The coaches are, nice.

Awful place, makes you do things you'd not want to do . But love it at the same time

Great instructors and community, made to feel welcome immediately, suitable for all abilities. So many levels to cross fit. Feeling stronger in body and mind after just a few sessions. Would highly recommend. 5 stars.

Been training here for almost a year, my fitness has never been better. Continued strength and cardio improvement, great community and excellent coaching. Highly recommend!!!

My fitness level has improved in many ways since joining

Been coming to Civitas for a few years now for PT with Jon and the occasional class. Constantly improving and huge help with my injury problems. Highly recommended.

Good coaches. Good atmosphere. Welcoming to drop ins. Decent equipment and space. No changing or shower facilities. Overall a better than average Crossfit box. Would train there again and recommend it to others.
