Every dish that we ordered here starting from the complimentary lentil soup to their special shawarma and mixed grill were very wholesome and flavorful. Very good portions and rightly priced. The service was quick too! I highly recommend this place.

Enjoyable experience, friendly staff with great Syrian food. On the top of this, great money value in terms of portions and food quality. The manager was professional and on the top of the game so I would highly recommend Damasqino as it reflects the true test with the great hospitality level of the Syrian restaurant.P.S : Grills and shawarma with all appetizers are superb and delicious.

Was recommended Damasqino by a culinary capable friend and it did not disappoint. Unpretentious and authentic Lebanese/Syrian food. You know a restaurant is good by the mouth watering smell when you walk in and the experience was added to by a bubbly buoyant waitress. The mixed starter was clean, fresh and hearty. Star of the show was the sharing main of rice, various barbecued and slow cooked meats and sauces. Absolutely brilliant value and really nice vibe. It doesn’t serve alcohol but the food is great so you won’t even notice. It also has a section for purely takeaway

If you're looking for a feast (for the eyes, soul, nose, stomach) at an affordable price and beloved by the locals, this is it.We went for a mix of 4-5 hot meze and 1 option from the grill, all with drinks and paid 48 in 3 people. Amazing value for money. The staff is lovely, and you can really tell the passion that goes into the food. The only rec is to show up early, and brave the queue. It's worth it.

1 of the best Restaurant I ever had in glasgow. Good was good. Ambience is really awesome. But service was little slow but acceptable because I feel the restaurant was really crowded when we went.

Sat down to catch up with friend. Barely sat down for long and the waiter asked if I am ready to order, my menu was still closed. Literally sat down for few mins only, waiter seen my menu closed, why the rush? It's not because of the fast service as I'll elaborate on in a second. To my surprise there is no lamb shwarma. Yup, 0. Scoured the menu, nothing.Ordered kofta wrap which is made from lamb, there was no meal option unlike the other wraps in the same section, so ordered chips. Then after a very long wait we noted other customers getting their orders.Asked the waitress why others are getting their food and we aren't. Got a blank look, she walked away to the kitchen, came back and said nothing. Fantastic service? No.So I then asked the main waiter, where is our food? Then after what felt like 40 mins, he admitted there had been a mistake. I told him, mistakes happen it's fine, but not letting me know is not OK.My kebab wrap came and it looked miserable. It was not like the adana kebab I am used to from many shwarma restaurants. The kebab was dry and hidden in the wrap with 2 pieces of pickle and some garlic sauce . That's it, I know £5.50 isn't much, I'd rather pay £10 and get a decent portion. I paid approx £9.50 for that and the chips. So once we paid and left, the waiter came after us asking if we paid? And how we paid etc. Really bad impression. One of the owners or person in charge was there, still got a bad service.I'd consider going again because of the atmosphere, and I would order something else. Anywhere else, a wrap would be decent to fill you up. It should be taken off or modified. They did give us some extra salad, but I didn't feel this compensated for the bad experience.

It took them 45 min to make the falafel, although the restaurant was empty. I ordered take away, so I can eat it in the park. The naan was not in the bag. They didn't add cutlery. The girl who served me was a little bored and she didn't even bother to bring the order to me.Damasqino it's not my first time visiting, last time we had nicer food and far better service. I hope you will fix these issues. At least the falafel was tasty.

We visited there with my family. The food is very delicious and we'll be definitely there again. The only disadvantage of this restaurant is the lack of a dessert menu. We would appreciate the fresh deserts after having kebabs etc. It will definitely boost their name. They serve lentil soup before kebab and it was extremely delicious. We tasted below ones and all of them were delicious. Prices also very reasonable.- Kibbeh Shameyeh- Kofta Mince Lamb- Damasqino Mixed Grill- Shawarma Chicken Wrap- Falafel Hot Mezze 7pcs- Moutabal
