Wonderful place. A hidden purbeck delight for anyone who loves wood. Very informative and helpful. I visited and went away with loads of stuff and loads of ideas. Only problem is by leaving a review, I am letting everyone into my wood heaven

A fantastic little place nestled in the heart of Wareham's industrial estate. Well kept and well stocked with timber and a friendly and knowledgeable proprietor. The really nice USP is the variety and quality of stock, species you won't normally find and many of them locally sourced. The usual suspects such as Oak and Yew are there as beautiful slabs and staves, but there are also far more unusual offerings. I bought some Pear and Port Orford Cedar, Douglas Fir and Sweet Chestnut. I was only after small pieces but was given loads of help and advice. Very happy with my finds and I may have found my new 'Happy Place'!

Great place for anyone looking for quality wood. Had a good size section planed and run through the thicknesser for a good price. Will be back when I need wood for the next project.
