The Gambling Man Barbers

My first time going to this barbers and I had the best experience ever. I was booked in with Abi and was greeted by another lovely lady and showed to the waiting area, after a short wait I was seen by Abi and she was amazing! So kind and chatty and my hair looks and feels amazing. 10/10 service and experience well done all :)

Brilliant. Booked on their website and all went smoothly. It was at short notice, and still got my cut ....brilliant .... Milly was my barber and she was awesome. Friendly and accommodating.. really listen to what I wanted and put up with my chatting haha

If you have a toddler, don’t go anywhere else on the island! I’ve taken my toddler for two haircuts with Millie now. Usually he’s a wriggling, crying monkey, but Millie is so easy going and takes it all in her stride. She makes him feel very comfortable; he eventually forgets that he doesn’t like haircuts and lets her crack on. I won’t be going anywhere else now I’ve found her!

Great service from this place, easily the best place to get a haircut and beard trim in Ryde, heck I'd say the whole Isle of Wight! I've had a different person each time and normally that fills me with dread, but I've not had a bad haircut or experience with any of them! They are all amazing. Can get a little busy so waiting times might be an issue if you are in a hurry, but fear not if you got the time there is a bar at the back! I'd say it's well worth the wait though. 10/10 will get my hair cut here again.

Today, I had my hair cut with Sam, and it was an exceedingly good experience, and I left the shop feeling confident and happy with my haircut. The staff at The Gambling Man are friendly and kind, and throughout my whole haircutting experience with Sam, I felt comfortable, listened to and respected. For the last decade of my life, I've gotten maybe 3 professional haircuts. Barbers and hairdressers have always been a sensory nightmare for me, and so I prefer to cut my hair myself, but I think for the first time in my life, I don't feel that way anymore. Sam is a very skillful and welcoming barber and I'd recommend him, and The Gambling Man, to anyone and everyone.

Had a couple nights in ryde and needed a beard trim ,popped in and staff very friendly and professional the chap that done my beard very pleasant friendly would gobback again but live in Bournemouth

Awesome experience, milly is amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Loved my skin fade. Felt welcome the minute I walked in. The best barbers on the island by far!!

Made an appointment with the lovely Millie and I'm glad that I did. I asked for a choppy, undercut pixie,showed a few pictures,she cut it very much like the one I pointed out. It was reasonably priced too. I am always nervous when I try a new stylist but Millie was so friendly that I felt at ease. I thought that a barber might do a good short cut and I'm happy to say that I was right.
