Rifleman's Table
We stopped here based on the strength of other reviews. It is very conveniently placed right next to the Catherdral and had tables in the sun when we visited. However the food was a little underwhelming. Certainly not somewhere we'd visit again. Staff were friendly though.

We were down in Salisbury for a day out and it was buzzing for a Sunday, while we were out we came across the Rifleman's Table cafe.We do like an Afternoon tea so picked that and why not.The sandwiches were chunky and well filled but the scones wow, slightly crunchy on the outside well baked and moist on the inside, plenty of jam and clotted cream supplied, and an additional slice of dark chocolate shortbread and strawberry sponge also provided.Enough tea for 3 cups of tea each also provided, when the sun is out get yourself over to the Rifleman's Table a great little eatery.

Best food I’ve had so far in England. I’m so full and it was yummy. Hehehehehehe. I’m an American can you tell?

Seemed like a nice place from pictures and reviews but based on our experience we won’t be going back. It took awfully long to get a coffee! We do realise staff was busy but 15min for cup of coffee is a bit excessive! Food was also very underwhelming, bread for club sandwich was like a supermarket white toasted bread - need better for £10 and quiche looked also sorry state, no salad dressing on the salad, not even olive oil or salt, really disappointed! Staff was lovely and polite, but that did not make up for the lack of quality with food!

The best Latte ever! Better than the high Street coffee chains, by far. The club sandwich is well worth it. Very good service as well.

Arrived on a hot busy day, staff seemed snowed under, were told our sandwiches and cake afternoon tea would take half an hour which actually took an hour. Was great when it arrived. Staff were really friendly.Think they were making dishes in order rather than how easy they were to make.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic food, location and service. The smashed avocado and eggs were absolutely delicious. Very welcoming to cycling groups too

Looked like nice place to eat but unfortunately we were late to get breakfast as it was around 11am. They could make an exception for two people but anyway coffee was nice and service was excellent
