Heard it's a good place for automobiles, particularly automatic vehicles gear. However, I'm yet have my car done with them. Scared off by huge bill of having my car gear serviced.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!having had my auto gearbox rebuilt by them it had never been right. I went back to them several times and each time they fobbed me off saying they have checked gearbox and all is ok.I took my car else where who informed me my car still had the original BMW gearbox sump and filter. Who knows if they did any of the work they were supposed too.£1600 down and my gearbox is still faulty.Use driver transmission down the road!!

Very careful with these lot. Got a quote of them for a repair and when the repair was done they tried charging me extra and till this day my automatic transmission still makes click sounds in between the second and third gear.

Went there was given price a few days later told was going to cost £300 more as the casing I got quote for was incorrect diagnosis.I recommend Driver transmissions only a couple off minutes away on Moseley Rd proper professional company.

Nice and sweet when i arrived with my car and faulty gearbox, when they had my car they couldnt care less, 3 weeks and £850 later car still didnt drive correctly then gave it back, then an additional £320 they said its another part. Still my car aint perfect , very unprofessional, i will never go back, if you dont believe me then go visit them at your own risk. Next time i will go to driver transmissions down the road.

GO ELSEWHERE - DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.I took my car here to get diagnosed as my car would go in to gear but not move. It took SY Motors THREE days to diagnose the car. I went to the garage to get my service book and I saw my car on the ramp and it had been taken apart. I did not ask for this to happen. I said I will be sending my car back to the dealers as I have only had it for two moths so this should not be happening. I had then been told it would be £150 to put the car back together? I was not informed when I dropped the car off. The original price was meant to be £300 but apparently for me it’s £150? Hahahaha.They were unable to help me find the part I needed for the car, let me search by myself. No help offered. Very unprofessional staff, one could hardly speak English... NEVER AGAIN. I will also be claiming back my money from these robbers. GO TO DRIVERS TRANSMISSION. LISTEN TO THE OTHER COMMENTS AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Don't waste your money and time, they can't get the job right in the first place and there warranty aint worth the paper its written on. My reconditioned auto gearbox know has a few seconds delay in selecting gear. So when you put your food down on lights or around about, the gear box decides when your going. Lovely at £1000.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! Listen to the reviews! DO NOT take your business there. Just imagine paying thousands to have your gearbox fixed. Only for it to start developing issues after a few days. Their warranty is a hoax, they will not repair your car no matter how many times you take it back. Now imagine having to fork out the same money again to have the repair done correctly. If you need any proof as to how dodgy they are before taking your business there check their attached invoice, they claim to be members of ATRA and FATE, please check their websites and you will find SY Motors no where. Both organisations have confirmed SY Motors has never been a member. Their cunning and deceptive actions will go on no longer. I have given them two weeks to rectify my issues they have created. In that time I will be contacting those that have left negative reviews to join my court action I will be bring against them. Do not send your automatic gearbox for repair here!! To preserve your finances and sanity go to Drivers Transmissions instead. They're only half a mile away and are much more professional, polite and reliable.Here's our story: In January 2020 we sent our car to SY Motors on the recommendation of a local mechanic. SY Motors said they could do the work in 5 days and then sat on it for 3 weeks. Finally they called up to say the car was fixed. When we arrived mental alarm bells went off straight away when they refused to provide a report detailing the work they had done or the parts that were replaced. The warranty" they provided was also suspicious: it required a 'gearbox service' at one month and at six months. I wasn't sure what a 'gearbox service' was and when I asked them they seemed pretty vague about it too just saying that that the car should be booked into a garage to check the gearbox is not leaking! Imagine paying thousands of pounds for gearbox work and then needing to pay money to another garage within a month to check for leaks! I could only conclude that these requirements are put in there just to make it more likely that the warranty wouldn't be valid - they probably assume most people will either forget about it or just give up after calling garages asking if they do 'gearbox services' (which to my knowledge is not a recognised form of servicing in the motor business).Anyway
