The Old Workshop
The venue itself is great. The bar staff are very good at pouring drinks but not so good on the admin side, I've been undercharged twice now on a drinks tab. Food from the in-house pizzeria and the neighbouring Dutch fries place is good quality but the service is hit or miss. I ordered a pizza 10 mins after a friend for the same table. He got his within 10-15 minutes. I waited 30 mins then asked at the bar what had happened. They said they'd chase it up. Another 30 mins passed, by which time I'd eaten my friend's leftover pizza out of sheer hunger. I returned to the bar to say I no longer wanted my order after an hour wait, asking for a refund. The person in charge checked the til, went to the pizzeria counter, returning with a long-winded explanation about a large pizza order they'd taken just prior to mine, no refund offered. At that point my pizza appeared and I was asked if I wanted it in a takeaway box! At no point did anyone come to my table explaining that I may have to wait up to 1 hour for a pizza. With some customer service training this place could be 5*.

Found this cocktail bar off the off chance. It's actually next to and owned by Malones. The manager Milo went out of his way for us tonight, above and beyond. Thank you

I love the workshop, such a unique place to share a drink with family and friends. Bar staff are friendly and create lovely cocktails. Only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music, as it is in a tunnel the music bounces around making it very loud and hard to hear the people sitting right next to you.

This specialist cocktail bar in central Aberdeen is an essnetial stop on any more refined bar crawl. The mixing masters behind the bar can keep the chat while stiring and shaking up the finest mixes of spirits and mixers. Both classics and house originals are served to any preference.No lies this is a pricy place but if you are out for fun and to have a good time... there is no place that better garantees it that the Old Workshop.Order Aberdam right to your table!

We stopped in by for a couple of drinks. There were a number of cocktails to choose from but the bar tender also could make any cocktail you asked for. The two cocktails that I had were delicious. There was a huge range of whisky's to choose from but also some non alcoholic beers for the designated driver to enjoy. The atmosphere was great. It's very cool the workshop is in an old tunnel that used to be a coal seller and also a workshop and a car park. Lots of history. Service was so friendly. Relaxing but upbeat place. Totally recommend.

Cocktail bar in open shared bar mall setting. Food orders based on food truck line partnership via wifi setting with wifi that doesn’t work. Fail. No servers for drink orders so you go to the bar to order and they bring them - I think?

Great venue and atmosphere! Cocktails were excellent and great prices. Reminded me of the old Clipper from the 70's. Fantastic bar staff too, friendly and fun. Highly recommended!
