I was at the counter to pay for my purchases and the lady staff there was doing BIG SIGH in front of me as she doesn't welcome me and she doesn't want to serve me but she has to....why??? I was even smiling at her and she was expressing her best to me to get away from here.Such a cold and unwelcoming behaviour. Is it because of my race ??? Or If you're having a bad day have a break just because of your personal problems you can't treat others like this.

The store should be labelled the Price up since that's their only concern , full of over priced goods and even basics are on a par with the prices of posh shops like Waitrose , its trading of an old name and values, if it was run by Waltmart I'm sure the influential lefties of Edinburgh would be up in arms at their dominance in the local economy . Getting back to the experience the shop's full of oven meals , junk and over priced essentials lad on the till was miserable and surely did not offer to bag it up like they do in Tesco's and chucked the items on the till. No manners neither. Its disgusting there are so many Co-Ops and their bstard off spring Scot mid Co-op in Edinburgh selling the same over priced mediocre products and trading of the illusion of working class pride. Being on a tight budget I'd rather see more Asda's and Farm foods but unlike the Price -UP neither of those business's have ties to the Labour party nor do they sponsor Labour MP's candidate's.

The staff member Roan who is a manager at this store ignored my daughter when she was shopping here because he was too busy on his phone. After complaining it was revealed he was playing a Pokemon game instead of helping customers. I also note he has left a five star review on his own store which is a conflict of interest. Unfortunately I won't be shopping here and cannot recommend it.

My favourite Co-op in Edinburgh (possible the UK). Customer service is lovely from all the staff I’ve interacted with. Tidy store and can always find everything I need. Staff are helpful and know what they’re doing. Would highly recommend shopping here!

Extremely rude women working behind the till. I stopped shopping there because of her attitude. One day I went in she refused to give me the amount of bags I requested and scratchcards. I asked for 3 bags she responded with no I will give you one, i asked for scratchcards she just simply said no. I have also heard her insult shoppers as they leave the store. Note to the manager, fire her you are losing customers.

It's weird how expensive this store is, when traditionally the Co-Op was all about lower prices. Practically every product is cheaper at Tesco across the road. Tesco have an offer of 3 chocolate bars for £1.20, at Co-Op it's 2 for £1. Large Cadburys bars are £2 at Tesco, £2.50 at Co-Op. If you shop at Co-Op regularly, you'll be spending an extra £100 per month i reckon. Furthermore, the staff are much friendlier at Tesco. I should also mention that their self-scanning machines have been faulty for months; you keep having to wait for a cashier to correct an error. The new self-scan machines at Tesco, opposite, have never given me an issue. It might sound like i work at Tesco, but i don't. Have a nice day, everyone.
