Halfords Autocentre Exeter

If I could leave 0 stars I woukd have done. I booked my MOT to happen at the Halford Exeter garage the day after I got back from a holiday abroad. Just before I left I had been called to ask if I could come in earlier which I agreed. The day of the appointment I looked through my emails, but had two different times I should come in, so called to confirm the time. Only to be told that the ramp was broken and they had rung me last week. I was abroad so they would have heard the international dial tone. No message was left and no email sent. When I confronted the customer service person on the phone saying why had no-one emailed or tried to call again that morning. He argued and said they had over 30 MOT appointments and that it was my problem. I shall never use this garage again and would advise anyone not too, as the service is horrendous! Ironically they were quick to send the cancellation email AFTER I'd rung! Pretty passed off as it left me without a car for several days and we're out in the sticks so getting around not that easy.

5 star service.Got 2 tyres at a really good price and also took advantage of the half price alignment offer.Got there early and Rob and Keiran were fantastic. Got everything sorted very quickly and we're very professional.Would definitely recommend.

I had a ten point winter check. Had booked a five point but upgraded to ten to be sure to have my windscreen wash, anti freeze, tyres etc checked. Was greeted politely and booked in quickly, check done and returned along with advice about tyres. No pressure, just sound advice.

Always seems to be busy here but you do get good service.They desperately need Aircon in the office though!

They undertook a major service and mot'd my car. They did this according to the manufacturer's instructions and were very professional with hot drinks available free of charge.I drove 30 miles to this garage but I had my hair done locally (not at Halfords) and found a coffee morning nearby with home made cake so I avoided getting too wet. The car was ready by 1.00pm

Highly recommend- we called in with car issues on route to Scotland and they had us back on the road in just a few hours. Super friendly staff, even recommended a lovely place to walk whilst we waited.

Very disappointing garage and have now gone elsewhere. Our MOT was cancelled twice in three weeks. First because the ramp had broken" and second due to a "software failure".We also needed help with our brakes

Perfect, friendly and reliable. Car went in as another garage ripped me off with a diagnostic check £50 that told me the incorrect fault. Went in to these guys. They fully understood and got my car back on the road. Well recommended and shall be using them more often now.

Cannot recommend the Marsh Barton garage highly enough. I had a cracked exhaust, a hospital appointment to get to later in the day, and only three hours to get it fixed.Rob was incredibly helpful, reassuring, and professional. He promised to get the repair done so that I could get to my appointment. He delivered. Try to get this guy when you go into Reception.The price was reasonable and the mechanics were all charming, especially the fantastic chap who turned off my engine warning light.In all, I’d recommend this garage to everyone.
