The Racecourse
Another favourite place of mine. Super spacious, you can always find a spot to be alone if you want. The park has had a bad reputation for years but hopefully that's changing. I wouldn't walk through at night just to be safe. The new basketball courts are ace! They bring a healthy dose of colour and vibrance to the park, plus they have nets now!

I came here for the balloon festival. There were no balloons that day. Been to the park once years ago, wouldn't choose to come to this park as always has lots of trouble.

This is a beautiful park to take a walk/run at any time of the day. You could also watch the sunrise -Beautiful! Weekends are usually better as it's packed with loads of sports loving individuals playing together. There's soccer, tennis, cycling, dog-walking, and plenty space for walks.

Great place to walk dogs, plenty of dog waste bins, free parking. Be aware of the main road near by. The park is also a great place to kick a football and fly a kite on a windy day. Or just to have a nice walk around.

Went to see the balloon festival today. Nothing that's majority different from my childhood, except slightly smaller fare. But it was more about being out on a beautiful day with lots of good people having fun, and for me, the nostalgia trip it comes with.I paid in advance, so I just showed my QR code at the front gate and got straight into the venue.

Good for long walks and exercising. Also a nice place to hangout during summer.Keep your pets on lead just to be in safer side! Also you can attend fun fairs for free at times, all you have to pay for rides.

Been many years since the balloon festival was back at the Racecourse and thank goodness we managed to park away from the event and walk in. Prices of everything hiked up, toilets a joke and exit queues plain silly. Let's hope lessons learnt and if the event goes ahead next year that things are better organized.

A park with huge fields perfect for a picnic, outdoor events, a festival, 2 playgrounds, a tennis court, you can park around the park, bicycle and walking paths, a clean park close to the city center
