Screwfix Derby - Alfreton Road

Went to Derby Screwfix today day pickto up a click and collect order, all went well with the ordering and email confirmation ,when I arrived there at lunchtime I(allowed for the fact it would be busy )there were 11 people in front of me so I got in the queue but didn't expect it to take 35 minutes to get to the shop! I'm not quite sure what's wrong with the the allocation of the goods but it seems to take a very long time for each customer. I'm happy with the product and the price it's just a shame that this happens, it puts you off the click and collect, it's not like you can go to another branch when you've already paid for it. Been happy with Screwfix for years they just need to tweak this service during lockdown,all the social distancing measures were observed by people and the staff were very friendly and polite.There were 27 people waiting as i left,least it was dry!

Very helpful staff and bought exactly what I wanted. Showed me what was on offer for guttering and I bought just the right amount for the job I had on my shed. The whole experience only took a few minutes and the carpark was just outside the door.I would use again.

Always a great friendly service. And service today was still great generally. However, I was not happy today with Covid H&S at this store. Not all staff wearing masks, no hand sanitisor for customers. A small crowded customer service area with customers encouraged by staff to crowd in and not socially distance while not wearing a mask. I felt quite unsafe and wont be going back until this wave is over. Still 5☆ as I know this is personal choice and things are changing.

All the staff are super friendly and have always helped me find what I need! Would really recommend. Especially grateful to Paddy and John for their amazing service :)

Great products at decent price - no doubt about it. What I find impressive is the availability and order process which is fantastic. This is one of the smaller shops of theirs that I have been in and the parking outside can be tricky at busy times. Apart from that all good.

Quick service, reasonable prices and a good range of products. Occasionally you'll get to store and be disappointed if they don't have what you want so i'd always recommend reserving online in advance which is easy. Its also a little annoying constantly having to tell them your name and address or scan your card. I can never find my card! The upside of that is they do e-mail you the invoice which is great but to improve that further they could stop giving you a paper receipt - its not needed and better for the environment too.

Staff polite and always on hand if you need anything , great product availability and will always be happy to locate a product or order in if they haven't any available at point of sale .

Been in todaySupplied wrong item, told manager guy, ignored and carried on fetching other orders from back of store.I'll take it back to another store as this has gone downhill

Great service, always quick with the online orders collection service. Good range of tools and products and some decent sales throughout the year!
