Cleckheaton Library
Cleckheaton Library has everything a community asset should have. Its range of books is comprehensive but it's the other collections and services which make it such a resource - DVDs, CDs, local history, papers, children's section etc. Finally, the staff are friendly, helpful and very well informed. Altogether, too precious to lose.

This library has adequate parking, disabled access and toilets and baby change facilities. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They do fantastic community groups such as the music and reading for babies and pre-schoolers or lego club for older kids. They have a great range of books as you would expect. Sign in and out of books is via the electronic system so is generally quick and easy.

This is a very good liberary with a large verity of good reading material. The let down is the loss of the film lending section which I thought was excellent. You can however improve your computer skills and help is always available from the many staff members.

Good. Nice selection of books and staffs nice the closing times are all over the place tho.. why is Monday open till 7 Tuesday till 5 Wednesday closed Thursday till 7 Friday till 3? Why can't it be open till 7 all week then Saturday open till 3 and Sunday closed?

Cleckheaton Library is a lovely, vibrant, buzzing place - so welcoming for families and people of all ages with an excellent Children's Library and events. The monthly pop up cafe is a great way to meet new people too.

Staff deliberately obtuse.like walking onto the set of duelling banjos..went out of their way to communicate none locals" not welcome. I'm enjoying watching the library collapse under its own members egotistically driven stewardship..and the back stabbing antics of its " charitable members". All those" special needs customers "can do those jigsaws at home.but active new supporters will just find a more grateful cause to support.rather than you inbred lot."

Cleckheaton Library is a wonderful place. The building is fantastic and the atmosphere has always been special. It is well-used by young and old, I have been visiting it for over 50 years, long may it remain.
