Ellis Butcher (Thatchcraft Limited)

Ellis was a hard worker. Kept to the schedule stated. Left the property and site clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would recommend him above any other thatcher.

Ellis completed our thatch at the beginning of March and we couldn't be more pleased. It looks fantastic. Much better than we could have hoped.It was incredibly cold during Feb, well below zero, and Ellis was still here everyday bright and early and pleasure to have around. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Ellis approached the work on our cottage with care, diligence and huge attention to detail. He took the necessary time to do things properly and thoroughly. Ellis was always extremely professional, with exemplary customer care skills.If it is possible to describe thatching as a creative process, then Ellis has certainly created something very special from what was a very tired old roof.We have received lots of positive comments about Ellis' work, and we have even had cars stop by the side of the road to take photos of the new thatch.Our new roof has hugely exceeded our expectations - and one does not have occasion to say that very often these days.
