The first hour is free then it's £3.00 for the day. The shop has info on the dams and surrounding area, a brilliant place.We like to holiday in North Wales and spend a few hours on our way in and out of Wales most years.

Caban Coch Car Park
This is a free car park which is a rare treat these days. It is well positioned at the top of the first dam in Elan Valley, there are 3 more dams upstream from here. Great photo opportunities with a wealth of views to absorb. This area is also awesome for nocturnal photography thanks to the lack of artificial light. Highly recommended to visit and enjoy.
