Bushbury Health Centre

Over the years I always respected this surgery and the team within it back when it was DR Morgan’s and partners. Now I find the surgery especially it’s obnoxious receptionists horrible to attend, trying to get an appointment itself is impossible with the receptionists they have, not all the receptionists are terrible the original receptions who still work there are always a pleasure and same can be said about the original doctors, but sadly this surgery has gone very down hill over time! I will soon be looking for a new surgery, I would have done it long before now if it wasn’t for the good ones and the fact I do not drive! Lastly the nurses are all fantastic they don’t get far enough credit for what they do!

Very professional doctors and nurses. They have all been very supportive to me and my family over many years. Thank you and well done

Service is a joke! Called 3 days in a row to get an appointment. All booked up they keep saying! Under staffed! What are on earth are the directors doing to resolve this?

As most people only leave reviews if they've had a bad service, I just wanted to add a bit of balance to all the 1* reviews on here.Ive been at Bushbury Health centre for years now, always had good service and got to see doctors in a reasonable time (mostly same day). Compared to the previous doctors I was at they are certainly worth the 5 stars!

Been waiting 9 days for repeat prescription still not done,cant get appointment,dont answer phone absolute shambles

Worst surgery ever never able to get an appointment

Only saving grace of this place is the doctors themselves. They are pretty good. The way to get to them however is utterly atrocious. First you need to ring dead on 8am. Not 8am and 1 second....8am. Then you need to be prepared to have line busy" for 10 minutes then you will be number 16 in the que. After that you wil join another shorter que to speak to a completely miserable receptionist who if youre lucky and doesnt cut you off will shout an appointment at you and slam the phone down."

Usually you only see the bad reviews but I want to give a big shout out and a thank you to Bushbury health centre. Recently I moved GPs and today it was the 1st day that I need it a Dr. I had a phone consultation 1st, which I didn't have to wait long for them to answer the phone, and then doc asked me to go into the surgery. The doctor that I saw was fantastic, very thorough and did not rush me out of the door, consultation took around 30 min. Absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for a better service.
