C and S Car Sales

Found these guys online a bit further away than I wanted but they had what seemed to be a cracking car in my price range. Emailed and asked for more info which arrived first thing the following day. Called and asked them about extending the MOT back up to 12 months in the price and they said that should be fine.Arranged to visit them and both them and the cat were superb. No pressure from the chap the helped me (who actually came out from the onsite service centre to see me). Had a casual chat, snooped around the car and was handed the keys for a test drive. Car sounded, felt and ran beautifully.Shook hands and arranged to collect the following day with fresh MOT. The drive home was faultless, not knocks, noises, rattles or vibrations.At this point I couldn't fault this place at all. Maybe the prices are higher than elsewhere for similar aged cars but compared to others if seen it was well worth it.Only had vehicle for a day now and will revisit if any issues arrise with it but I would be most surprised.Lovely guys and great cars.Car purchased:Ford Focus, 2l TDCI, 2006 Titanium edition.

Great service.No pressure selling like normal sales people.Car was 5 years old but looked brand new where it had been cleaned to a very high standard.Very pleased with the service and after care support ( next time read the owners manual ).Highly recommended and would definitely be using them again in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough of Chris & the team at C&S Car Sales in Thatcham. We drove nearly 100 miles to view a car & I'm so glad we did - I've spent many hours travelling distances to view second hand vehicles that fall way short of the advert description when viewed in the flesh. We were warmly greeted, left on our own to have a thorough look at the car & at no point were we put under any pressure to purchase. They even had things to keep a toddler occupied which for me demonstrates how important the customer experience is to them. .Rarely does a dealer take precedence over vehicle choice but I'll be looking at C&S Car Sales Thatcham first next time !Thank you guys.

We bought a 2002 Ford Fiesta from C and S Car Sales and the car was in stunning condition just as advertised. Paul was an absolute pleasure to deal with and reserved the car for us when contacted by telephone - it was Easter Sunday and the sales room was closed but he reserved the car for us once the retaining deposit was paid by bank transfer.There were no pressure sales tactics and we were allowed to test the car on our own. As I said the car was in stunning condition, drove well with no issue so we arranged to collect the car a few days later once we had insurance in place.I would happily buy another car from this place.

Ok, so you hope that the purchase of a new car (specially the first one) will be special but not this special! I had the delight of purchasing a car from Paul and his team a month ago. No car dealer can vouch 100% for the intricate workings of the modern day motor car.Probably the biggest concern when buying second hand is whether the dealer is honourable.I can personally vouch for the proprietor of C&S Car Sales, Paul Kingham, as a polite, well mannered and honourable car dealer.Over the years I have had many dealings with car sales set ups and C&S is one of only 2 that I would have no reservation about buying from again.C&S ? Bought a Ford C Max 08 reg and after a few runs noticed a slight leak on power steering pump. Paul took it back and fixed the problem with no fuss on site. Highly recommend with non pushy sales and great after sales service. Always a risk with used cars but very pleased and warranty offered at a reasonable cost.

Bought a couple of cars from them now and had no problems. I will use them again. Chris the salesman is genuine and the Mechanic John is thorough and without being rude is of older years and more responsible before seeing a car off the forecourt.
