Hothfield Car Sales

Enquired about a van last week for finance, they said we will sort it when we are back on Wednesday.... that day came and nothing so emailed them asking what's going on was fobbed off with it's been a manic day and they had taken a deposit on the van that day but I arranged finance 5 days prior !So technically they took a dump on my chest and not cleaned the mess up ! Avoid these time wasters !

Dropped in here one day and after looking at a car and it's service history we asked to test drive it and learned that they work by appointment so we were offered a test drive 2 days later (we accepted that this is the way they work here, although I did note that there were no other customers present during the half hour we were there).As working people we have to take days off work to do this so I asked specifically and you're not going to call me to tell me its been sold before then are you?" To which the owner replied "well we're closed tomorrow and then only a couple of appointments before yours on the day

I visited this garage recently to try and purchase my sons first car. They have some good cars on display, many with low mileage. Prices are average to what you would expect. The owner/sales person? can seem abrupt and was not keen to allow my son a test drive without a commitment to buy, but he could not have been more helpful after I had explained that we were not time wasters & were there to buy a car if we found the right one. Unfortunately, we did not find one, but this would not put me off using it again.

Absolutely pathetic. Booked my appointment yesterday to view the car and we drove nearly 100 miles with thr baby to view the car and he is telling us that it has been sold. I found him very rude absolutely not welcoming and more of racist guy. I think poor him doesn't know how to do business and talk to people.

I purchased my new car from Hothfield car sales. My experience with this company is 5 star, No fuss, straightforward and honest, no pressure , I was left alone to inspect the car and and the actual purchase was straightforward and no fuss, I highly recommend this company and will certainly be back when it's time to upgrade my car, many thanks for a excellent car buying experience.

No pushy hard sell, allowed to view vehicles at our lesuire, questions answered fully. Test drive arranged on selected vehicle which was clean, sanitised and ready.Sale went through as discussed on pre-arranged day. Whole transaction effort free on my part. Much prefer the By Appointment system, we got all the attention re our sale. Thank you Hothfield Car Sales.

Edit to respond to the response: 17/5/18The reason the review was left originally (September 2017, then edited in February 2018 to mention the fake reviews) a while after my purchase was due to me giving you a chance to actually make 1 of the FIVE call backs I was promised. Not one was made, so I left my original review. Like stated above, the review was edited to make people aware of the fake and misleading reviews just to boost your Google ranking back in February. It will bow show this review as being newly received, it literally took you that long to respond to me on here. No wonder I never received a call back.I purchased my car here, they were great at first, sent the car for a new MOT before it came to me, and fixed a gear box problem. When the car came to me from the MOT it was missing the windscreen wiper fluid cap. I've now paid twice to have it cleared because its become blocked. I've made 5 calls and each time I've been promised a call back about it. I've heard nothing and the calls I've made recently aren't even being picked up. Zero after care and I'm now looking into legal help for not providing me with a car that has all the relevant parts unless this gets sorted first. A cap doesn't just disappear, zero aftercare here, I feel really disappointed and let down.Also the fake reviews from the same person under multiple accounts, just to boost their Google rating is poor.
