Loch Ness Backpackers Lodge
Lovely staff, great location and nice atmosphere. The rooms are quite damp so be prepared that nothing will dry in the rooms. Sound travels very well, so if you’re next to the toilets like we were, bring earbuds! Quite clean! Great parking opportunity.

Loch Ness Backpackers Lodge
Amazing backpackers around the corner from the loch and the castle. The couple who run it are amazing and the staff (Matt,Erin Alexis and Eva!) were very helpful. The facilities are great and Patrick’s Frisbee golf course is even more awesome. 100 percent recommend.

A great hostel more suited to the young (at heart) and the adventurous. Adequately maintained, although hot water for showers are hit and miss.

Nice staff, nice common areas but way too expensive for what we got; 2 bunk beds for a familly in a tiny room we could not even open our lugage in ! Meant to be ensuite but toilets were not working so we had to use common ones and shower, eventhough was of a good size we had nothing to put our stuff so definitly not what we had paid for.

I had a really good time. The place is very organized and it’s easy to feel home. The stuff is adorable. The location is great if you’re traveling between Inverness and Fort William as you’ll have an outstanding view of the Loch Ness not far from the site. Thanks for having me guys!

Loch Ness Backpackers Lodge
I had a fantastic stay at the Loch Ness Backpackers Lodge, and I couldn't have asked for better service. Alexis, one of the workers, was exceptional! Her warm welcome and attentive assistance made my visit unforgettable. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views of Loch Ness which is just 15min walk away. I highly recommend this place, thanks to Alexis and the wonderful team.

A gem of a place! We stayed here while walking across Scotland. The perfect hostel. Very clean, excellent showers. All the amenities you need. Oh, and there’s beer.Would recommend and will come again.One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

Exactly what you want from a hostel in the Highlands. Comfortable, friendly, with a decent bed and beautiful surroundings. The staff team are excellent too - welcoming and well informed about the local area.

Loch Ness Backpackers Lodge
Warm and welcoming little hostel, with a full kitchen, tea and coffee for guests, and even a little spice rack that guests can use for cooking. The showers were clean, and there was a lot of space for relaxing in the evenings at the tables or living room-like space.Very friendly hosts and clean space. We ended up walking down to Urquhart Castle and the Falls of Divach during our stay, as both were fairly close and quite pretty walks.
