Co-op Food - West Cross - Linden Avenue

Great little shop but wish they had someone on the till to serve you sometimes you have to wait a while

Really great shop this, all the essentials and more and open early to late. Staff always on hand to help out with 3 self service tills to speed you on your way.

Popped in for a bottle of wine on the way home from work… had to go searching for a member of staff due to it being a restricted product, eventually found someone… can’t sell alcohol past 10.30 at night but open till 11? I’ve had previous experience of very little stock in there and searching for staff to help out… this isn’t a one off. Not the staff who work there’s fault just very poor all round…

no staff to be seen at till point, when I found a man to serve me he told me I had to go to the self scan till, rude and ignorant. Poor service all round

Shelves are nearly always empty with loads of products hardly in stock and food is well over priced

Never any staff you have to go and find someone. One or two of the staff are very good but the rest are awful. I have been queuing twice in the store only for the member of staff to just walk off . Not to mention the attitude. Tarnishing Co-op's usually very good name.....

Called into this co-op last thing at night after finishing work, only to find that my colleague and myself felt like an inconvenience. Two female members of staff on and neither could raise a polite smile or a basic greeting. I fully understand that we were possible the last customer's that evening but, my colleague and I got and I, both had the distinct feeling that we were a inconvenience as the two staff members did not even acknowledge us in any way ? We payed via the self serve till, and left without so much as a bye or leave. As one of us was a business owner and the other a member of the local health care authority we were disappointed beyond belief at the poor customer service. We will not be returning to this establishment.

A handy place to drop in for a quick shop, much easier to park - and free - compared with Mumbles. A good selection of groceries, produce, beers, wines and spirits, baked goods, fresh fruit & veg, essential toiletries and cleaning products etc. To find this Co-op, turn up the hill from the Mumbles Road at the West Cross roundabout. Co-op is about 1/3 mile on the Left, up on an embankment. Turn immediately eft after you pass it, then left again into the Car Park.

Handy little store for picking up the essentials with a good selection. Automatic checkouts are the default. It can sometimes be a little hard to track down staff when you need assistance as they are usually hard at work restacking the shelves.
