A brilliant price, lovely staff and a wonderful atmosphere. I had the pancake stack and it was brilliant! The staff were so kind and attentive. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful restaurant situated in the heart of Bangor's beautiful seafront.Food was delicious and fairly priced. Service was fantastic and all our needs catered for.Will certainly be returning soon.Thank you guys!

Had a terrible experience here today. We ordered food and drinks at lunch time. Place wasn’t busy but food seemed to be taking a really long time. I noticed then food being served to other tables who had arrived 15-20 mins after us. I thought I better say something to the staff just to find out what was wrong as kids were growing restless. Just then a waiter noticed we had still not got food. I heard him mention to another member of staff to check on table 7. I watched as the waitress went to the kitchen then came back to our table to say our order had never arrived in the kitchen and that they were sorry. It had been 35 mins if not longer so we just left. Cant say I’ll return anytime soon. Bad experience

Great place, great people..Had my morning coffee and pastry there, brought the family of 9 back in soon after for full breakfast. Everyone loved it. Fantastic food,coffee, pastries, at a fair price! And the staff were so happy and friendly. I'll recommend to all!

Absolutely fantastic place. Amazing food, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and full bellies! Will for sure be back without hesitation! 5 stars all around!The velvet rose burger is to die for!! Thanks so much guys!!

I went to this place but couldn't get chips because they are fried with meat. I can only have vegetarian friendly food. I decided to order French toast and when I tried it, it tasted meat. I told the waitress and she said it was cooked in black pudding!! I was horrified. We got nothing free. No manager came to apologise. I was absolutely disgusted that they don't cater for a vegetarian diet.

Just had lunch at the Velvet Rose cafe in Bangor, absolutely fantastic, really impressed. Food was amazing - delicious and huge portions - and prices surprisingly reasonable. Staff were brilliant, can't say enough good things about this place. Will definitely be back!
