Avoid avoid avoid! While you do get the odd carers who are brilliant, the office let the entire company down. Useless, rude and incompetent.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- Most unorganised company I have ever had to deal with . They do not know where the carers are and cannot give you any indication of when carers will call. I do not expect an exact time but surely they should be able to give you an approximate time within an hour window. The office do not appear to communicate with either the staff or their clients. It does not surprise me that other reviews are from staff complaining- I suspect that they find it very difficult to get staff.

We had a very bad experience with a previous care company and approached routes with some apprehension. They have now been caring for our grandson who is wheelchair bound with ms, for 8 months.We cannot praise these carers enough. They have established an amazing rapport and go way beyond what they are required to do. They have brought warmth and humour to his life while carrying all the care out with professionalism and compassion.The company itself is very responsive to any requests , always returns calls and adapts to his changing needs with alacrity.We would have no hesitation in recommending Routes to anybody considering who to use.Thank you Routes and your fantastic staff. Particularly the 2 amazing ladies who carry out most of the care!

but only if they listen to my requests I keep on making but obviously it keeps falling on deaf ears and it is seriously effecting my health i always a lot happier when I get the carers I used to have

I sent numerous emails to the management (if you can call them that) at this company due to the incompetence of some (not all) of their carers who quite frankly shouldn't be in the care industry. They obviously take on staff who have no life experience to deal with vulnerable clients. Every time I complained about certain recurring incidents the standard response was 'I'll pass it on to the carers'. This invariably didn't work as I had to keep informing them that the same incidents kept occurring. This was despite several notes left around the house stating what should & shouldn't be happening. I am of the belief that some carers are unable to understand basic instructions. If I could give zero stars for the management I would. They spoil it for the certain carers who do a good job. I would steer anybody to keep well away because of the highly likely probability of dealing with the office management.

Routes have been incredible. So kind, so caring, so motivational and they have helped me recover quicker than I ever thought possible. Thankyou Routes

We were delighted with the care provided for our mother in the last 3 days of her life. The staff we saw were cheerful and compassionate towards us and our mother as well as being efficient, reliable and practical. We could not have asked for better support at a very difficult time.

I recently became a carer for Routes Healthcare.Unfortunately I was mislead in many aspects.Including the nature if the work I was supposed to be undertaking.The areas I was expected to cover where vast for a non driver. And therefore the travelling costs where enormous.I worked with, Dementia ,Ms and a young disabled 18yr old girl with severe epilepsy.However the tasks I was asked to perform I felt under qualified for .I'm someone who if Im going to do a job wants to be on point and put the clients needs first however I didn't feel this was the case with the organization .Even got sent to cover someones shift to find the carehome unit was closed to public and relatives due to a Severe Outbreak Of Nurovirus.Surely I should of been informed of this.What would if happened if Id contracted this and passed it on to vunerable clients.Would I recommend working for these guysAbsolutely Not!!!I did four shifts then quit was supposed to have been paid 14th Dec, 2018 but nothing even txt the manager and recieved no reply.My transport alone cost me out of my own pocket £47.They owe me for 4 shifts £178 for three of them and awaiting pay slip for my fourth.I will be taking things further to make sure Im paid for the work I put in.
