From start to finish they were very helpful and professional. On the day of the move, the guys on the lorry were efficient and conscientious. When off loading, there was a delay due to the solicitors but again Reads were patient and understanding. I would highly recommend this company

We used Reads Removals last month to move from one part of Peterborough to another. We had a number of quotes done and they sat in the middle price wise.We were very happy with the service they provided us. We had some issues with getting furniture out of the old house and they persisted and also a sofa that wouldn't fit in the new house and again they persisted.Really happy with the people that they sent round, very polite and gentle with our stuff.Would recommend them without hesitation. Used Reads Removals to move a relatively short distance , we decided on Reads Removals as they were quick to visit our home to evaluate the job .On the morning of the move four Gentleman arrived and introduced themselves and instantly put us at ease , nothing appeared to be a problem and due to the immense amount of belongings they wasted no time in packing , all the time they were polite and helpful .The whole process was believe it or not was an extremely easy operation due to the professionalism of Reads Removals.Moving into my new property was made easy as the team made sure everything was placed in the correct rooms . Well all I can say is that the reviews I read on google must be for a different company than Reeds at Peterborough who moved us from Wisbech to Boston a couple of weeks ago. They seemed OK if a bit rushed and the only concern we had was that no one seemed to be in charge. They said they were a team and so did not need a senior or team manager....how wrong they are. No team works without a decent competent manager. Reeds SEEMED OK and the price was fair. They said they would use two trucks as we had quite a lot of garden stuff and tools. In the end this was a joke as the main truck they sent would have been quite sufficient. We thought we would be safe moving our large range of shrubs and plants in pots with the extra truck just for them....oh how wrong can you be. Two weeks after the move we are still finding damaged plants and broken pots. The worst is how they hid the Brocken pots (some worth quite a bit) and did not tell us about breakages. After they left on moving day we wondered why one chest of drawers was left in the middle of a bedroom. We found out when we tried to open a drawer and move it. It literally fell apart as it had been so badly broken. What an awful mess we have had after this bunch of charlatans moved our home contents. So many breakages and everything hidden so we would not see it until they had finished and gone. Oh, and they badly damaged a ceiling over the stairs.We are not ones to complain but feel we need to warn anyone with valuable breakables to move. Use somone else.

Fast and efficient service, value for money.I needed to move the contents of a container. I spoke to Sabine at Grantham Self Store whom advised I contact via the website.There was a delay on this being picked up, I chased and when Sarah contacted me she apologised and couldn’t do enough for me.The guys were able to load without me being present and gave an eta so I could meet the other end. They were fast and efficient.The only gripe I had was one of the guys was not happy as we were unable to prop a main door open and we refused to hand over the door code so they could let themselves in rather than waiting to be buzzed in.Would definitely use again

I had an excellent experience using Reads Removals. An efficient video survey saving me the need to fill in loads of forms to get a quote and also have my questions answered. I had quotes from multiple companies and Reads were definitely good value. I had regular communication in the lead up to move day. On the day the crew arrived bang on time and were fantastic all day. Nothing was a problem for them and they were professional, careful and considerate with all of our belongings. I highly recommend this company to help take the stress out of what could have been a very stressful day.

Where to start on the accolades to shower over this brilliant company. It's all about the people isn't it? Sarah was our original contact to handle the quotes after we gave a video tour of the property to move from. She has been friendly and flexible the whole time. We moved from a large bungalow to a three floor house, with two teams handling this. The first team of packers were fantastic - fast, hard-working and good-humoured, as well as extremely respectful and careful. The unloading team were similarly focused and took great care with everything they handled. Considering we're moving with a baby too, this was as important as anybody's move. The after service has been perfect too - boxes and paper collected so we didn't have to get rid of it ourselves.I'm entirely satisfied and very impressed. Thanks everyone involved.

Just wanted to say how pleased we were with the Reads removals team during our recent move (about 100 miles) in particular Michael and David. They were endlessly helpful, friendly and hard-working and took great care with our belongings. They were very efficient and getting us out of our old place and into the new, and we have them to thank them now we are all settled in!

Reads Removals service was second to none. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish. We were initially given a quote for a moving date that fell through but weeks later we got back in touch with a new moving date - with fairly short notice - and the quote did not change. We were also not as prepared as we would have liked, due to a death in the family, and were a bit worried about it. The removals men were fantastic. They quickly found out what we wanted to do and started work with little input from us. They were packed up very quickly and unpacked on the other side even more quickly. Everything was put where we wanted it - nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Reads Removals an excellent service at a very reasonable price.
