We have boarded our cat at a few catteries but this is, without doubt, the best. It is absolutely immaculate, very secure and very comfortable for your cat. It's better than some hotels I've stayed in!! Definite 5-star cat luxury.

If you want your precious fur babies cared for in immaculate surroundings, with attentive staff who obviously know about cat behaviour. Regular updates on the welfare of your little darlings then this is the place for you. Can't recommend highly enough. Very impressed by their care and attention even with my little diva's.

What a wonderful cattery, couldn't recommend it more. My cat has stayed twice and both times been very happy and looked after very well. Makes a difference when you need to leave them and know they are safe and happy in lovely surroundings.Laura D

Our cat Millie recently stayed here, it is unbelievable, like a cats perfect hotel. Well done owners as this is by far the best Cattery in every way, personal contact, cats have their own lovely little room, dietry needs are recorded, impressed by how well run the establishment is. 10 out of 10.Mr and Mrs McCabe, Hamilton. Hope to book Millie back in for Xmas/New Year if you are open during this period, however if not in 2022.

Absolutely fantastic place. We found this place by chance and they took amazing care of our cat. Our cat had some health issues but we discussed them with the team at Maythorne and we worked out an agreeable solution if our cat became unwell when we were away. They also worked around a tricky booking situation which was entirely my fault when I mixed up my dates. They really know their stuff when it comes to cats. They also fed our Lola 3 times a day which she is used to whereas other places we previously used only fed her twice daily. They also gave her favourite treats at a time when I asked. All-in-all I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Visited the place as i plan to leave my cat here for my holiday. The owners were fantastic and amazingly friendly. I was allowed to visit the location which is super clean and highly organised . The cats even have a TV to themselves!!. I can gladly say i will have peace of mind leaving my pet here . Location located in peaceful relaxing surroundings .

This was my Luke's first stay in a cattery, and it will not be the last one. The place is clean and secure, owners are great. We were also getting regular updates via text messages. Would highly recommend.

Would highly recommend - my cat has stayed at a few catteries around Glasgow recently and came home a bit out of sorts at one or two of them, but at Maythorne she seemed very happy and relaxed afterwards; I was impressed by how the cat quarters were fitted out, very thoughtful and spacious, heated with piped music and a tv! Many spaces for her to explore and relax in. a real luxury cattery, and lady (Irene?) really nice, I will definitely use again soon! Thanks - Alan

This is the place to use. Great friendly owners and lovely facility. Cat came back healthy and happy and much less stressed than at other places. No dog only cats which I think help them settle in. Will be my go to from now on.
