Sukhdev Catering provided a fantastic service for our ladies sangeet evening and also for our wedding day, with breakfast through to lunch, canapés and a sit-down reception. From our first meeting until the day of the event, the whole team was incredibly professional - with special mention to Shiv, the manager. Throughout the planning stages, Shiv was incredibly prompt with email replies/phone calls and took all the hassle out.Sukhdev’s Catering menu offered a great variety and Shiv was able to accommodate our requests and advise on which dishes would work for which times of the day. Shiv invited us to delicious tasting sessions each time we added a new dish to our menu, and the food quality was identical from the tastings to the event days.On the wedding day itself, we received so much praise from guests for the fantastic food which did not seem to ever finish! Shiv and his team have worked extensively with Motorcycle Museum, and consequently their excellent relationship and reputation meant that the day went without a hitch. Highlights were the delicious canapés, lassi, pastry cart (provided by Sunantha Patisseries) and the most stunning fruit display. Throughout the whole day, the food was fresh, delicious and piping hot, with constant supply of each dish. Shiv himself touched base multiple times with us in the day to ensure that we were happy.Overall, the whole team delivered an outstanding service and incredible food, all whilst being extremely humble, down to earth and some of the friendliest people we have met - exactly what you look for in a supplier! We wholeheartedly recommend Sukhdev’s Catering to anyone who wants to ensure that they get delicious food at a competitive price with outstanding service, especially if your venue is National Motorcycle Museum. Sukhdev's catered for our whole wedding day at the motorcycle museum, this consisted of breakfast, lunch and the evening reception. The quality of food was amazing throughout the whole day. We had plenty of comments from friends and family on how much they loved the food, with quite a few saying it was the best they have had at a wedding. Everything was fresh, tasty and plentiful.Not being from the midlands, I wasn't aware of any companies or their reputations, however Sukhdev's were 1 of the 7 recommended caterers for our venue. After making initial contact with all 7, Sukhdev's were the most reasonably priced and on the ball with responding back, even through Covid. Shiv was fairly prompt to respond to queries by email/telephone. I can't say the same for one of the bigger more popular caterers in Birmingham, they were unresponsive and when they did respond they completely overlooked the question asked (numerous times), and made me wonder how they are so popular.I wasn't too sure on Sukhdevs at first, as there isn't too much to find about them online. However, what I can say is they were still fully responsive during Covid, when the wedding industry was suffering, there were no pressurised sales tactics or forced deposits to secure the date (this can't be said for some of the other bigger caterers in Birmingham).We had about 9 months in-between our initial food tasting and then deciding to go ahead and putting down a deposit once it was clearer we would be able to go ahead as planned for our date. Shiv never charged us more, even though his costs had gone up from our initial quote.On our wedding day Shiv was in attendance to overlook everything, and was even proactive in checking if they should delay lunch as our ceremony over ran in the morning, and we were a little behind schedule. He checked in again with us at lunch, and again in the evening reception, to check we were happy with everything.If you are looking for a reputable, long standing company that can withstand financial shocks such as Covid, and still provide an excellent service on your wedding day, then consider Sukhdev's. If your venue is the national motorcycle museum, then Sukhdev's really is the perfect choice, as they have a really good relationship and reputation with the venue, and they each know the behind the scenes details of how each other work to get the perfect execution on the day.

We hired Shiv and his team for our wedding meal and reception meal, both were amazing. I had numerous guests come up to me and say “I’m so stuffed but I can’t stop eating, the food just tastes so good!” The service itself was excellent and all of the staff were very professional and helped out wherever they could. The quality of food with Shiv speaks for itself, you only get the best. I couldn’t recommend him and his team more for any event you’re having. The food for our wedding was the most important thing to us and we definitely made the best chose by picking him for the job!

I hired Sukhdev's catering for my wedding reception at Edgbaston Cricket Ground. The food was actually amazing and came out on time with no major issues. I found the company to be reasonably priced especially amongst its competitors.
