This is a hidden gem in a small village and well worth the visit. Food is excellent with locally sourced ingredients when available in season. Coffee is also 1st class, with friendly staff.

What a beautiful spot to stop for coffee and a delicious lunch with friends! The cafe has been beautifully done in a lovely converted barn. The bread was exceptional (freshly baked on site in the bakery!) For lunch we had a focaccia sandwich with eggs, bacon and pickled chilli's which was delicious. The cakes were fabulous too, we particularly a white chocolate and peanut cake which we took home for tea. The staff were really friendly and a great team. A real local gem and we would definitely recommend a visit when in the area! We will definitely be making a return visit when we can.

The best place to eat for miles around. Interesting menu with brunch and lunch options, cakes and sourdough baked on site. Enjoyed the wild garlic pesto and bacon focaccia and a very good roasted carrot and labneh focaccia for vegetarians. The brûléed bread and butter pudding is one of the best deserts I have ever had. Very good quality coffee. Also nice to have coffee beans, sourdough and preserves available to purchase to take home. Charming setting in old converted agricultural buildings in a picturesque location. Excellent service. Will definitely be back soon.

Absolute gem. A group of 5 friends visited today at the end of a long walk together and weren't disappointed. Between us we tried the strawberry and vanilla slices, sourdough toast with butter and jam and a fruit scone with cream and jam, with Yorkshire tea as well. The food was freshly made on the premises and tasted fantastic. The cafe itself has been open just 7 weeks and thoroughly deserves to be well used both by locals and visitors alike. Dog friendly too. The staff were lovely and welcoming and we will certainly be returning.

Beautifully renovated and cosy place to visit for excellent quality food and bakes. The coffee is absolutely delicious. I have visited for brunch twice and attended a florist run wreath making at Christmas. Lovely to have such a place in the local area.

The Leys Bakery & Café
I visited the Leys bakery and Cafe today with my family for lunch. The food is all prepared from scratch, down to very delicious hand made focaccia and sour dough bread. I had a delicious roast aubergine meal - see below which was very filling and lovely, unique flavours. The bacon, sausages and ham are from the local butchers (very tasty). I have had biscuits and cakes on other occasions, again all home baked, very generous portions and beautifully presented. Thank you to the whole team at the Leys for a great experience.

The Leys Bakery & Café
The café is set in the beautiful village of South Wheatley and newly opened. Loads of parking including EV chargers and a flat easy walk across to the café. I was visiting from New Zealand and can safely say that I had the best coffee here out of anywhere in the UK. I was very impressed with the menu which was a little different to what you would expect but the flavours were incredible and delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting in the area.

I was fortunate enough to stumble across this establishment by virtue of a colleague tipping me off. Having now had the pleasure of devouring one of their jam doughnuts, I can safely say it was one of, if not the best (and I am somewhat of a connoisseur), doughnuts I have ever had. I am looking forward to trying everything else there is to try as soon as I can.I have heard the coffee is also the best around.10/10, would recommend to one and all.

Could be the best sausage roll in the county. Lovely place to sit outside on a summers day. Great cafe inside too, with homemade cakes and food.
