Large free car park, near the gypsy pony's field. Start and end of many great walks with the pub not far for a well earned bite or drink!Few minutes walk to the whittling well, follow the flattened grass in the field

It's a free car park. Surrounded by well-tended heathland. Great walks by the river or over the fields.

A very convenient place to park and explore the nearby woods either on mountain bike, as we did, or walking. Only one mile from the centre of Wakefield, but a different world. The Kings Arms pub is a great place to visit, once it's back open that is.

This is a lovely place with excellent views. It was lovely to see lots of people enjoying a picnic. Had a lovely hour watching the horses and scenery with a lovely cup of tea and a biscuit.
