Stopped here for lunch by chance whilst spending a day walking the coastal path. The coffee was the best I had during our week holiday. Also had a delicious salad box and some tasty local courgettes and tomatoes from the little shop. Owner was friendly and did a good job balancing making lunches and serving a constant stream of customers (some how!)

Called in to have a drink.The tables were full of plants for sale.We sat down and while we were deciding what to have the young woman said to us(It's not table service if that is what you are thinking)at that point we got up and leftWe must have caught her on a bad day.

What a nice little cafe! Tasty pasty eaten and two really well made coffees from Yallah roastery. Ate outside but no hassles from any flying nuisances either - owner must have sold their soul to keep the gulls away!

Handy little cafe, nice coffee and lovely fresh cakes and pastries. They have some local produce and products as well. The owner is nice and did really good job at pimping the place up- there's a lovely seating area / terrace with gorgeous views over the Portmellon cove.

Been (occasionally) coming to Portmellon for 40+yrs. The (great) Pub aside, (not really kid focused) Portmellon was a bit" of a food desert. What a great and well needed addition The Shack is. Great selection of hot and cold food and drink for hungry beach goers and boaters. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Shows how a small business can add big value to an area. Thank you."

Lovely little cafe/shop. If you’re staying in the cove you’ll be able to find whatever you need there. Also they have very good hot chocolate and pasties.
