Hemstead is a joy for walking your dogs lots of trails to follow and once of the main paths it's very peaceful and you don't see many people so it's Ideal in the present curcumstances it has a car park which sometimes gets very crowded, its not just for dogs, families, joggers even horse riding so if you are up for long walks it's Ideal

Easy to find, good for a walking and cycling start. Popular with dog walkers too. Out of the way, so security could be an issue… don’t leave tempting stuff in sight in your car.

The forest is beautiful, many hard surface walks. Very popular with dog walkers especially at weekends .Large car park area. Only downside is there are no rubbish bins in the car park .

Most convenient place to park if you visit the forest. Be careful at the entrance if you have a tall van/car as there is a height restriction.

It's a car park in the woods. Can get busy and can get a little muddy when wet. That said, it gets you very close to the path of a very pleasant walk.
