Footprints on the Moon Forest School

I have been to the Forest School and seen how the staff work with the children, the smiles and happiness on their faces say it all. They go out in all weather and it makes no difference to the kiddies, they have their waterproofs on and enjoy going to see what they find. Ask them to name what trees and the bushes there are and they know straight away. I would definitely recommend that all kiddies should go to forest School before they go to their infant school.

I am sharing a negative review with the public domain due to the unprofessionalism shown by the business. I have heard that these guys are good at their job but challenge them with an issue and i have seen with my own eyes that they brush under the carpet and not interested.The owners of the vehicle they use live in Cramlington and park on blind corner.A few weeks back there was a major incident where a child came within CM of being hit by an oncoming vehicle. This vehicle was not to blame and line of sight was blocked because of the van used by this business.One of our neighbours reached out very professionally and asked very nicely for them to use the car park further down into a huge car park or there is a 2 car car park further down too.The response from these guys basically was 'we have parked there for years without problems'. No accountability or responsibility and it was mentioned that a child was nearly hit and they choose to email back saying they were not interested and would not be responding.I would recommend anyone looking at these guys to think twice.There is currently a pending mutiny about this business around their area with over 150 houses onside. A negative review will be placed on all social media channels until they remove their van from a dangerous area.

What an incredible experience for our little boy and for us too:) Annie and her team are really great with kids and know so much about nature. All was very safe and well organised. We can’t wait to sign up again. I can’t recommend highly enough.

This is the second time we’ve booked our daughter in over school holidays, and just as last time, she has had the best time!! She was sad to leave on the last day, and can’t wait for the summer holidays to visit again! Thank you to all the awesome staff for giving her a memorable few days in the forest! x

Simply wonderful, inclusive, nurturing and super fun.In an amazing and safe setting where children of all abilities and ages are free to be themselves, express themselves and make suggestions and have opinions that are heard and taken on board my son has thrived way beyond my expectations.He has learned and developed skills in a multi sensory, holistic and fun way educationally, socially and emotionally with dedicated, kind, caring and knowledgeable staff who he is excited to see on each visit.He has a huge sense of pride and his confidence and anxieties have improved hugely through attending both nursery and forest school / home education groups.Beach school visits are a hit and toasting marshmallows or pizza making around campfires, exploring or being in any of the many 'camps' are always exciting events but the primary educational element of practical life skills or otherwise within the setting and learning to love and respect each other, the beach and the outdoors are not things you can find easily elsewhere.The staff are always happy and it is clear to see that they enjoy their work with the children as much as the children enjoy being with them and all the other children. This is obvious in the communication between them all.I should just add that the communication extends to parents too. I always know what has taken place and what adventures have been had both from staff and my son!Forest School is so much more than can be imagined.THANK YOU Footprints !

I have recently attended 2 forest friends sessions with my 1 year old and 4 month old. My 1 year old loves it!The staff are lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend

Inclusive, welcoming and incredibly fun!Footprints on the Moon has provided a safe and nurturing space for both of my children who have attended a range of different sessions over the past few years. Through Forest Friends, Home Education sessions and the nursery, both of my children have developed in confidence and a range of skills - both practical and social. This is solely down to the dedication, knowledge and supportive nature of the whole team who are so passionate about what they do. I would highly recommend Footprints to anyone who has children!
