Furniture Village - Poole

I spent over £5000 buying a suite from Furniture Village Poole in 2019.The Cambric (dust cover under chair/settee) has started to turn to dust leaving black marks on carpet. In the old days the manufacturers would use hessian. The material is clearly sub standard. The environment is cool, dry and does not get heavy sunshine. Besides taking out an extended guarantee I am being told that it is wear and tear - something that is never touched completely Bizarre.I strongly advise customers to be aware and shop with a company that has a good reputation like John Lewis.

Went in looking for bar stools and dining chairs.Great range with matching sets to cover both areas. Paul in the Poole store was really helpful. Even moved things around the store to help us visualise the look of our own setting with the new chairs.Delivery wasn’t guaranteed for Christmas but a few weeks after ordering I got a call to say it’s all in stock we’ll ahead of schedule. Came here to buy a new sofa, the sofa selection was fantastic and during Black Friday had some good deals. It wasn’t too busy and plenty of parking. However the shop staff have that strong salesman vibe and personally that puts me off asking questions because you can tell they are eager to make a sale. That being said, they were nice enough and answered my questions.

We had been to look at the furniture a few weeks ago and really liked it, but wanted to wait until our new flooring was laid. Went back on 15th December and was greeted by Paul who was very thorough and knowledgeable and we went ahead with the purchase . Really pleased with the overall service

We spoke to Michael in the Poole branch, from the day my mum and I started looking for a dining table and sideboard he made us feel comfortable without any pressure, he spoke with knowledge and confidence on the product we were Interested in, and our budget was taken into consideration. Upon returning to the store some weeks later to purchase the items, we wanted to speak to Michael directly, and he did not disappoint with making us feel confident in the products we were buying and the care they will have provided following the sale. He pulled out all the stops to help us achieve the look we desired for the dining room, and ensured delivery before Xmas!Thanks to Michael we feel excited to receive our products in the coming weeks!
