I am sorry to see a malicious entry on these reviews, otherwise McHardy and sons would have the full 5 star reviews which they truly deserve. I have used them twice, some years apart, and got exactly the same efficient, courteous, and quick service each time. Reasonable in cost, I had an entire central heating system put in and they left the place spotless. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the second time I have used this company, the first to service my boiler and now to change a thermostat. I would certainly recommend them as they are polite, professional, honest and have respect. Arrived on time and worked solidly the whole time he was here. Thank you for great service.

I had the pleasure of Rob coming to my house to check out an issue with a boiler - it was old and clunky and he was excellent in offering a number of solutions, explaining them all to me and my wife. He helped us make an informed decision and had the boiler fixed and working again within the hour. Needless to say, when the time came to have a new boiler installed, Rob was the first and only engineer we asked and he and his team did a brilliant job.

We have been trying to get hold of you guys to come and look at our boiler as it has malfunctioned. I called firebird and they have sent someone round to look at the system, and they said I quote ’this is appalling and doesn’t look as though it has ever been serviced’The oil nozzle has never been changed and should be by law every yearThere is oil all over the baffles and soot everywhere.
