Needs a good clean, and the trees trimmed.People need to be informed that they keep dogs on leads and not to take them into the children's play area.

I went for a relaxing stroll in this inner city park with my pet dog. Children play here there is a skateboard ramp and an outdoor gym, this park is close to Bootle town centre with major transport hubs all a couple of minutes walk.

Surprisingly large and big enough to find a quiet corner or two.Well kept considering how many use it.The sports hall is well equipped and a decent sized pool is amazing as well as the play side of it.The sports hall is multifunctional and the staff are great.The park has a nice community garden and there's even some allotments.(I've seen squirrels in here...oooooh getting posh )There's a huge grass area, big enough for a couple of pitches. Outdoor gym equipment and a well stocked playground and the Basketball court is a bonus.Also a fenced 5 a side pitch which is often overlooked.Good for a stroll.Good for a sit downGreat park.

This Leisure center has ample car parking and its free to members the staff are friendly and very helpful this Leisure center has a pool gym sauna steam rooms and has a small seating area if you want a coffee or tea

I take my kids to the skate park there. We go really early about 9am they love it as it is empty and they dont get in the way of the more experienced skaters which get there a bit later. I can walk the dogs whilst keeping an eye on the boys. Fantastic!!
