Absolutely amazing pet shop with an amazing couple running it. Must be since I travelled miles for it. So knowledgeable & really interested in their customers. Good range of products & genuinely well cared for pets.

Bought 2 little Bengalese finches, and they are lovely pets. They wake up quite early and fly about the room(I leave the cage open most of the time.) They make delightful little noises, and when the are tired they snuggle up together in the seed box.

I walked past here about an hour/two ago and saw a female staff member smoking right by the entrance, whilst holding the entrance door open. I was shocked about this considering I've been in before and know that they stock budgies and other birds/animals in shop, and their respiratory systems are very sensitive to cigarette smoke.It wasn't a complete surprise to me as my partner had been into the shop a few months ago because we were going to buy a budgie, but noticed that the shop smelt really strongly of smoke (whilst there were birds available in shop). We ended up buying from elsewhere because we were put off by the smell. At the time we weren't sure if it was a one off occasion but after today I'm certain its a regular occurrence.If you're going to smoke while working in a pet shop at least have the decency to leave the shop and walk a few meters away.

Brilliant wee shop, the staff were super friendly and it was obvious that they genuinely care about the animals. The two rats I purchased a couple weeks ago have settled in amazing and are super cuddly and have the sweetest little personalities. Couldnt recommend this place enough:)

So helpful and friendly! Got a budgie with lots of advice on introducing to my older budgie and it went perfectly....

The person there was amazingly friendly but there were at least 12 hamsters in a glass tank that didn't look bigger than 1x 0.5 feet.The parrots were also left in empty cages with 0 enrichment. Just the basics and they looked so scared. I get that the parrots are for making money but they are incredibly intelligent beings and shops should have a duty of care to any living being that is under their care.I was also told to use multivitamins if I get a parrot and.... a parrots diet should be solid without multivitamins and birds can get quite sick from overdosing them.....I won't be going back and if I had a friend looking for a store for good care I would not propose this place.Sorry to say it wasn't what I was hoping for.

Very nice and knowledgeable lady. Amazing budgies and the lady has held one back for me without asking any payment. I can't wait to pick him up and I have already been recommending her to my friends. I live a fair drive from the shop but I don't mind the travel when I have had such great service.

Such beautiful birds and the galah cockatoo was adorable it would just ask for scratches in my opinion coolest pet shop

Went to buy 2 finches,,owner was very knowledgeable,,very friendly,,and helpful,, we drove over from bearsden ,quite a bit away,because we had read previous good reviews,, we were not disappointed.. will definetly be back there for further supplies. Great shop. X
