Probably the best experience ever and absolutely worth the entrance fee. Spent all day there. Most of the planes were practicing for the weekend airshow so we got a free display. Added bonus. Excellent day out

I absolutely love this place. Full of interesting aircraft and other items and the history behind them. Always activities for the kids to do in a wide open space. Also, as a working airfield, there is a good chance you will see some great flying aircraft too, including the incredible Spitfire ❤️. On this visit, we got to see some aircraft practice some aerobatics, which the kids loved, as did I. This place is well worth the membership fee to allow you to visit as often as you like, as well as other venues too.Love the changes they are making, in particular the plaques and new layout in the restoration hanger, which made in a much more interesting exhibit, with details of what the plans were for the items they were restoring.Never had a bad day out here.

Excellent day at the battle of Britain airshow. Never seen so many spitfires. Wow. Air museums really good great selection of aircraft. Also military equipment. Disappointed you had to pay to walk through some aircraft. Used to be free.

Beautiful historic and well preserved museum. Lovely air shows and great day out. It’s massive so bring your walking shoes. Great for kids on a nice day. Best avoid wet days at 80% of the place is outdoor.

Recommended location. Allow at least 3 hours, but one could spend all day here. A great selection of aircraft and exhibits. Recommend you buy tickets beforehand and get there early but also enquire as to whether there is a flying schedule for the day — a ride in a Spitfire might be something you’d like.

Excellent museum with lots of different types of aircraft, as well as wartime vehicles. You can get up close and personal to a lot of the aircraft, even walk through some of them (such as the Concorde with test equipment inside).Lots of information around and general activities for children too. There's a café and it's all generally very clean and well presented. If you're lucky you may get to see aircraft taking off, doing flypasts and landing, as it's a working airfield.

Very big place, lots to see. Friendly and helpful staff. You can hear great stories. Toilets were in each building, lots of benches outside to seat have your lunch. There is a massive gift shop and cafe next to it, which I would rate 3 out of 5, as it was quite messy, didnt see anyone cleaning around and ordered some food and tea. Didn't get the tea. In the end, when asked again about it, they made the wrong tea as we specifically asked for black tea, no milk. But overall, it's a great place to spend your day. It takes a while to walk around. I started from 10 am and stayed till 3:30/ 4 pm.

We loved every minute of our visit. There is so much to see that we didn't get to go to all the hangars. We will definitely be going back again. The staff are amazing and the tour we did of the Lancaster was so informative and interesting. Wonderful day out if you live History and aviation.

Excellent day out to see aircraft and displays from WWI through to 1990. Allow several hours to explore. The hangers where the aircraft are displayed are large, dry and warm. The walk between each hanger can take 10 minutes. There is a mobility bus service on site to aid those who find the distances involved between exhibit halls too much. Tickets are around £20-£30 per adult.

Really enjoyed going to duxford. So much to look at, cafes are spread out which Is great. You don't need to walk miles to get a cuppa. I enjoyed watching the planes take off and doing acrobatics in the air. There were toilets placed through out the site.
