Halo Leisure - Highworth Recreation Centre | Halo is a registered charity and social enterprise running 19 sport and leisure centres throughout Herefordshire, Bridgend County Borough and Shropshire on behalf of the local authorities. We also share our expertise with developing operators such as the Point4 at The Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford and The Severn Centre in Highley, Shropshire. But that’s only the start of the story

Could be so much better with more classes and more family friendly swim sessions. Not frequent enough so you're always battling for spaces.

No small pool for the younger ones have to use large pool and very small area they can use there arm bands and ring and no toys or floats to use. basingskoke has a small pool for younger ones loads of room to play and provides toys and floats

My son was called bad swimmer aggressively when he is stage 7 and won 2 gold medals and then continued to say they were bad and didn’t let them on the diving boards

My son has been going swimming there for over 1 year and loved it....until they decided that they cant warm the water up to same temperature as last year. He now doesnt want to go anymore.... such a shame that they are doing this...

Lane swimming at the pool is lovely. There is a slow, medium & fast lane to cater for everyone's ability. The Gym is well equipped. There are a number of classes available. Staff are friendly & helpful. Your card is free & scanned each time you visit. Free parking. Well worth a visit.

Small gym, not high tech and lacking in some equipment I'm used to, not supervised and no CCTV. Not a huge variety of classes. However, it serves its purpose for a small town and staff are friendly. Great for the younger generation.

The swim was fun for me and the kids. The showers were broken and the small diving board was too but the kids didn't mind and we all had fun. Nice to be able to go for a fun swim again post COVID

Friendly staff and nice big swimming pool the changing rooms could do with little update but whole place is very welcoming with plenty of things to do.
