This place is shocking, used to be my go to place ,not any more ,I can not express how bad it has become, the manager needs to get a grip ,food has gone shocking, delivery, OMG waited 3 hours and then cancelled,

They forgot our can of Pepsi so we called and they came back with a bottle. Food was very good too. Would recommend

Used to be a nice chippy, gone downhill bad. Who serves a pie that burnt. Won't be going here anymore. Wouldn't give that to the dog.

Absolutely a joke of a service! Over 3 hour wait said it was in its way and not even shown up! Avoid even going here.

I was a bit dubious on going into the Gold Star but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly , the chip shop is clean and well managed. The meals I ordered were exactly what i ordered. The food was hot and the portions were good. The curry is still great You can go to other chip shops and the curry changes consistency and taste in all the time I have been here it has not changed. The chips are always nice (some chips are disgusting) I have been back quite a few times now and have found the same level of service. This is my go to Chip shop. But the old saying is still true you can not please everyone

We have just moved from widnes to whiston and our last worry after losing our GP and services WHAT CHIPPY DO WE USE NOW haha.. simple things. Found this absolute gem, quick service, the chips are my all time favourite and the curry is perfectly hot. Really lovely staff, always busy but a nice welcome. It's the simple things in life that make it x

Ordered mixed kebabs for delivery when they arrived no bread no sauces just meat in a tray worst chippy service I have ever had won’t be ordering from there again
