Devil's Point Fishing Spot

There are moments that standing on the Devil’s Point Fishing Spot can make you feel as though you have discovered the point that land dissolves into natural beauty.Often, the views of Mount Edgcumbe and Drake’s Island over the river offer a serene background to an afternoon of casting lines out into the cool water. I had the pleasure of catching some of my first fish at this site, including some of my first pieces of seaweed.However, the small area of the Devil’s Point Fishing Spot can become quickly congested, meaning that you may be required to share some of the space with other fishers. For those that don’t mind a moment’s conversation with a stranger, the potential for others to be present may cause little concern, but those that prefer to fish in the solace of one’s own company may wish to return at a quieter time.

This spot is absolutely nuts!Nowhere better on the planet if u ask me.Have spent many a day down here with a cold beer in one hand, fishing rod in the other winding in great sea bass, salmon, wild tunas, mackarel, and even lobsters!It's beautifulWhat more can I sayTHIS PLACE IS SOMEWHERE YOU MUST VISIT... ABSOLUTE WONDER OF THE WORLD!!!

It’s closed for construction for a long time already, so for fishing it useful

Such a great place to go for walking. We parked at devil's point and at sunset it's even more beautiful. Less people and car park was free
