My Nan has just come off the phone with the receptionist after the surgery failed to process her prescription. She had to ring twice, and the guy on the phone was very rude. He even loudly sighed when my nan asked him to do his job. Appalled at his phone manner.

Was okay when I joined the surgery in 2018, now it's gone to pot. Normal doctor is off, so a locum covering. I put in a repeat script, that I've had no issue getting until now, when the pharmacy didn't deliver and they told me they hadn't received it yet, I called the surgery only to be told that I have to pick up my blood test form before the locum will sort out my script! This was not explained to me at all, just a text to say that I am due for my bloods to be done. I'm sorry staff, but my crystal ball is out of service right now....I'm happy to have the blood test as it's routine for me, but they seem to forget, or just not read, that I need my meds due to withdrawal symptoms (which I only get with one of the meds I'm on) and also need pain meds in able to get anywhere!Receptionist rushed me off the phone before I could explain anything to her. And it wasn't the normal receptionist that I usually speak to.I know things have been tough of late, but remember that most patients do need their meds to get by, like pain meds and those that cause bad withdrawal issues!EDIT:Went to the surgery for 9am on a Friday (48 hrs after I had oral surgery, and should've been resting) to collect my blood form. Was left outside, with my walking stick in pain after having no choice but to walk there, for 5 mins. I tried to get my point across about my meds, only to be shunned.Blood test or no meds basically.Plus I have to find the money to get a taxi to the Phoenix Health Center in order to get my bloods done as they don't do it at the surgery anymore!I'm now out of meds and dreading the withdrawal phase which, you think a practicing doctor would know, can be dangerous. Especially in the form of cold turkey" in which they're forcing me to do.How many others are having to go through this?!I'm seeking legal advice and putting in an official complaint .... again."

Very good doctor and much better service than my previous practice. I have been able to get through on the telephone, receptionists helpful, have been given appointments in a timely manner and the doctor has changed my appointment from telephone to face to face after she had been given the information by the receptionist. She has always been professional, listened to my medical concerns and I have been given appropriate advice, prescriptions, treatment or referrals as required. I could not ask for a better GP.

Been with doctors since I moved to Wolverhampton in 2013. I moved house but still in wv3 area so still not to far from doctors. I've had a letter from them to say from the date f the letter they are taking myself and my mum off the list, as we are not in the catchment area. I've looked at the government page for gp service and it takes it no longer have a catchment area as you can go to any doctors you are happy with and gives you the right medical attention.I don't mind having having the but the time frame for being removed was zero. Very disappointed.No communication they are very rude spoke to them as they said basically stuff the staff are rude and doctor well say no more. No.service management there at all.Also I've edit this because my mum is still waiting for medical record to fo to the new gp always excuses.There a reason why you get prescriptions,? New doctors wont give out.Poor practice

Absolutely the best G.P. I've ever had.She listens, is supportive, and is predictably excellent at diagnosing and fixing whatever is wrong with you.She never rushes you, or dismisses what you are trying to say, and she doesn't mollycoddle you, she helps you, and explains things in a clear way.If you need a specialist services referral, she is always onto that quickly.The practice staff are pleasant too

Good solid family doctor. Doesn't stand time wasters but gives you the info you need and a prescription if you need it. A proper traditional no frills no nonsense family doctor. Much appreciated by my wife, son and me. If you only go to the doctor when you really need to, and you want an appointment when you need it not in 6 weeks. This is the doctor for you

Remember that episode of The Golden Girls where Bea's doctor didn't take her seriously? Dr Whitestone's staff are nice, it's the doctor I can't stand. I went to see her recently, and she was cold. Even when I asked her a question regarding my condition, she didn't answer, but simply typed on her PC and ignored me. I had spoken to her several times on the phone prior, but her reply was always If you were really suffering from something serious

Can't get to see Doctor or Nurse quickly. Have to go to a different place in the evening.I only joined this practice because it is in wheelchair pushing distance. Pointless being a patient here if I can't actually see someone here. Routine appointment takes two months. Can't give an opinion on the Doctor, as I have yet to meet her.

I haven't seen Dc Whitehouse for nearly 3 yrs. Its always a locum. 3 weeks to get a appointment.I would suggest another G.P.
