I’ve been to social pottery a few times but this time I went in a big group of 15 people. The service was lovely and they accommodated us very well. Doxah was very helpful in explaining the process and helping everyone to feel informed and confident in their pottery painting experience. Looking forward to picking up our pieces in a few days!

Disheartening animal cruelty. The pottery painting is great, but unfortunately at the entrance of the studio there is a medium sized cage tucked away and in it two sad looking budgies. They don’t seem to have any toys, ropes etc and when last visited they were huddled together on a porch looking rather tired and to be frank, depressed.Even if they had toys, ropes, hides and visible bowls etc I don’t believe this is an environment for the little guys - it’s loud and with constant foot traffic. I also doubt they are allowed out due to potential health, safety and cleanliness reasons.Surprised nobody has said anything on here or reported it.

Cute concept, but let down by a very strict time limit (1.5 hours starts before you have even picked out your piece), as well as lack of care when your items are taken to be glazed (2/3 had dents in, and 1/3 had a paint contamination mark from another piece when picked up). They should also vet out who is attending their NON-SIP sessions because two rowdy drunks who came in late were sadly sat next to us; making the experience noisy and not the most comfortable.Would avoid this studio, and choose another. The prices here are relatively high, and their TikTok fame is clearly letting down the quality.

Really fun activity to do in group, as a couple or solo!A huge variety of pots, vases, plates etc to choose from. The staff are friendly and explain everything really well.I would recommend getting there on time, if not slightly early, so you have plenty time to choose your pottery and get the full 2 hours to paint which go by fast. The only reason I give this 4 starts is:a) It got really hot upstairs when it was busy, and you could barely feel the AC - not ideal at all.b) The paint brushes are really old and the bristles are v. overused so good luck if you want to try paint something detailed, the brushes really lowered the quality of my finished vase - maybe bring your own paint brushes! All in all, it was a fun experience and would go again (and bring my own brushes)!

I painted the color of the pottery. It was my first time doing it, and the staff Doxah kindly explained and took care of it, making it an unforgettable experience for me. Thank you Doxah. :)

Fun and cute activity to do with friends but gets extremely busy and hot. Also very expensive, a single mug will cost you £30 after buying a ticket for entry too. More disappointed by the fact that after paying £75 to paint 3 items, our pottery was covered in dents and had been marked and contaminated by other people’s paint from where they’d clearly been bunched together in the kiln.

Social Pottery is a gem in London for anyone looking to unleash their creativity. The welcoming atmosphere makes it perfect for artists and novices alike. With a wide selection of bisques and excellent facilities. Booking online was seamless, and the option to host private parties adds to its charm. It's not just pottery; it's an experience that sparks joy and community spirit. Highly recommend for a unique and fulfilling artistic adventure!

It was kind of fun but every item is quite expensive and I don’t really understand why you should pay just to go in when you’re paying a premium for every item. Keep in mind even the smallest item is like £25. Barely any input from staff and the items did not turn out as nice as I expected, especially after going in the kiln, mine ended up with loads of air bubbles. I messaged them on social media to express how disappointed I was and they just ignored me.
