A1 Clutches - Cannock

Dropped my car off at 8:30am to have clutch and flywheel replaced. Car was finished and ready to collect by 12pm despite how busy they were. Excellent service, I'm really enjoying driving my car now that it's had new clutch and flywheel. Thank you A1!

ReviewAVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I took my car in to have some routine work done including the gear box, clutch & fly wheel on at the end of September. The car was returned to me on 4/10. Less than a week later I was driving along and there was a loud crash and then a thudding noise whenever I accelerated and braked. Then there was a huge bang and smoke everywhere. The car was returned to the garage the following day and when they investigated it turned out the engine had not had the dog mount bolt but back in properly, so the noise I heard was the engine coming loose and swinging into other parts of the car causing damage to the air con unit. The manager confirmed on the phone and in person to me that this was an error on their part, accepted liability on multiple occasions and confirmed they would repair the damage. This was repaired on 23/10, however I lost a days work on 10/10 because of the car not being safe to drive and having to go back to the garage to be assessed. I contacted the head office and in the first incidence the CEO simply replied to my email with ‘WhatsApp’ which I refused to do as it is not a monitored form of communication and made me feel they were trying to be underhand. I sent several emails and finally received a response from the client services manager. He tried to claim that the damage was not something they had done and the manager of the garage had at no point accepted liability (I provided the date and time of the call but conveniently, they had deleted it).He tried to claim that the repair work was done as a gesture of good will. However by carrying out the repairs they accept liability and if they hadn’t caused the damage why would they have repaired it for free? I had no issue with the manager of the branch until the customer service manager informed me the branch manager lied, saying he never accepted liability. I can only assume he did this to cover their garage’s massive mistake. I was not being unreasonable. All I wanted was the money I lost because of a mistake their garage made. DO NOT USE!

Had my clutch changed here , top service from them kept me informed at all times would use again and definitely recommend thank you

Just had new clutch,flywheel and master cylinder replaced. Very happy to say a1 clutches did a fab job,dealt with Suki who kept me informed all the way. Thanks guys great job.
