Redemption Roasters - Hampstead Heath
My overall experience wasn’t good. Extremely expensive and very tiny cups or oz for both iced and hot lattes. Also, extras is not cheap at all, for example soy or oat milk is extra 50p. Tastes of coffees were average, nothing special. I wanted to try this place because it looks crowded but probably, wouldn’t try again.+ Good location, next to the entrance.

Really, really good coffee! Ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough too. The sourdough was fresh, crisp on the outside and soft in the middle (not brick-like as sourdough toast often can be). It was the only avocado toast I’ve ever had which I haven’t needed to add salt to - it was seasoned perfectly and garnished with sumac (I think!), lime and rocket. Very tasty.Love the initiative of the place too, I’d rather spend money here than another coffee shop. There’s a great selection of cakes and pastries and you can buy the ground coffee to take home too. It’s a lovely spot next to the heath, would recommend.

For me it's the cutest Cafe ever, also very convenient location just some seconds away from the station and Hampstead heath park. I go there every week, and their Mocha, is the best I've ever had. The staff is lovely, all the ones working there are smiling all the time and serve you very fast! Honestly so good. Greetings to Nicole the barista, lovely Brazilian lady!

Have been coming here regularly on weekdays since they opened. Nearly all of the staff are friendly, smiley and welcoming, which on a good shift can make for a warm atmosphere. Food is pretty good. Dogs are allowed, if not exactly 'dog-friendly' (cf. WatchHouse). All in all a nice place to come, helped a lot by the spacious surroundings.

In the Redemption Roasters tradition, the Hampstead Heath location serves tasty but expensive coffee. The standard serving size is small - less than 50ml - for £3.60 (£4.10 if you ask for oat, almond or soy milk). Their filtered coffee is hands down the best in the area. Food wise, their sandwiches are the only food menu item that offers value and a tasty option. One area of improvement is making the decaf option free of charge as opposed to a supplemental charge, given some customers might not be able to have caffeine. The interior of the store is large and although it enjoys of high ceilings it feels crowded. There are no power outlets anywhere in the store which can be a challenge for laptop users or anybody looking to charge their phone. If you are not a fan of dogs the weekends might not be a good time to visit as early afternoon gets packed with dogs and their owners. There is outside seating on three picnic tables on dry, sunny days. The high price of the coffee does support a larger purpose. The firm sells coffee roasted in Aylesbury Prison in four coffee shops across central London. The firm teaches young offenders coffee skills with the aim of helping them find employment on release. The service is friendly and warm. A really good coffee if you do not mind the high price relative to the small serving size.

Coffee is strong and delicious. Sandwiches also delicious! Nice to have discount on coffee for NHS staff, much appreciated. Staff really lovely, carried coffee to my table and gave me an extra sweet treat which made my day! Vege and vegan options too :) Overall great place, would recommend. Only thing to note is there aren’t many charging cables if you want to work and charge laptops here.

Spacious setting but tables are tiny and food is expensive. An oat flat white for £4.30 seems a bit much. Charging 50p for oat milk seems excessive. Let’s be reasonable on the alternative milk charges please

All fairness, I was a tiny bit disappointed by the quality of the product & service. The space is quite massive, suitable for individual work- the table are a bit small however.I ordered an oat cappuccino, the milk merely tasted like that of a flat white. The service was so-so, it almost as if they didn’t care at all :(
