A & B Fencing

Dave guaranteed delivery on Thursday (About 10 days after order) for me and suggested I call up on the morning of delivery for an estimated time, I did to be told the driver has a Southport drop then my area so will likely be before 12. At around 9.30 I was called to be told they where sorry but did not have the wood for my order, I found this strange as they said it was being delivered around 12, also they can not say when it would be available, to which I replied I may want a refund and I would call them back. With in 1 hour I was able to source what I needed from Barney Rubbles Long Lane aintree for £50 less and compared to the fence A&B (National fencing) supplied to my neighbour its much better quality. I called Dave to tell him I will require a refund to which he agreed. 30 min later I receive another call from Dave to tell they did now have my fencing. As I had already order from someone else and I don't like to mess people around i still continued with refund. I had to chase them up the following day for the refund as they never called back like they promised.

This company thinks the general public are a bunch of dead heads.I found them online.Picked what I needed for my fence.Put them in the trolley.Took a drive over to them thinking I will pay by credit card.How wrong can I be lol. 1- The price they show online is only if you pick the materials up your self.if not you have to pay more for the materials #Sure trading standards will like this one.And to be told the management do this because they sacked all drivers besides one.So I asked if I paid the difference in price is that the final bill price LOL.No it's about 18 to 20 pound to deliver to me less then a mile away in southdean.My advice avoid at all cost .

Reasonable prices and helpful staff, delivery was on time

We ordered materials for our garden helped by pleasant young lady named Robyn. She gave me a delivery date and it arrived promptly. The delivery driver was friendly and efficient. A & B are not our normal supplier but in future they will be. A fiest class service. Well done A & B.

AVOID , AVOID, AVOID Would rate them zero if able. I order on 6th April 2021 Spoke with them they confirm they have all in stock and full order will be delivered on 13 April 2021 proof on the invoice attached. On 13th April around 11am I call them to find out time window for my delivery, they come up with excuse for heavy load and not been able to send my order in ones , I need to wait another week for the second part of my order to be delivered, and if I don't agree they could refund me.Bear in mind they are telling me all this on the delivery date ! When I have 8 workers waiting for the materials as we have been promised verbal and in writing for full delivery on 13th April , and we are waiting to crack with the job. I was on lost already as the workers was present but the materials was not! Anyways I agree to wait one more week , to receive full order. The driver comes too late after 18.30 pm. The materials are low-quality, made without any cement, they brake like a glass - posts , gravel boards everything. I have more than 10 gravel boards and posts broken in pieces.Second week we wait as been promised for second part of the order We been promised for full final order to be delivered plus extra 10 gravel boards to be replaced with the broken ones, but - too good to be true ! Ones again order not in full !When I call to ask again, way is not full order with the second delivery they told me ''Well we need to charge you'' Bear in mind, that, I am stuck with workers that could finish the job in 2-3 days and they have put me to wait 3rd week after order been placed, paid and have been confirmed in writing full order to be deliver on 13th April . Just I don't understand , how people like them are allowed to trade! In the end we just give up so I went for a new gravel boards and new posts from different supplier.So folks, be aware if you look for fence quality materials, jus do yourself a favour and look somewhere else, as they are far from a company that will deliver. Avoid in all cost!!!

Great company, very impressed, problem solving on the spot and created a lovely feature with our new fences. Not the first time A&B have done work for us and it certainly won’t be the last. Highly recommended.

The one star is for the delivery fella who was greatThe company itself, the customer service and processes are shocking. Ordered 16 gravel boards, weighting 60kg each, and they would only drop them at the front of the house.Having paid 30 quid for delivery I would expect at the very least to be informed they only leave them at first contact with the property.They claim this is common and are not insured, this doesn't apply to their competitors who both drop them where they are to be used and delivery is far cheaperI couldn't send the product.back either due to a 30% handling charge.Use their competitors. Lesson learnt

This is the second time I’ve used A&B and I recommend them to anyone in need of new fencing, garden beds or storage solutions. Always happy and helpful from the booking to completion.
