The menu was extremely inflexible. I requested a salad without onion and was told they were made up first thing that morning, so this was not possible. I would have liked plain chicken with the salad but as an extra on one menu, again this was not possible. Very unimpressed!

First visit. Lovely establishment. Food excellent, very busy, friendly service. Prices on the high side, especially the beer, but still value for money for the whole experience. I will go again but on a Monday lunch session when there is a lunch time deal.

Nice setting and good food. Service was friendly but a bit on the slow side. The order was also messed up a bit. We visited on a Sunday so it was very busy, but a Sunday on its own should not be an excuse or reason for slow service. Also was told at the door we must leave within 2 hours, even though we had a reservation.All in all it was good and would visit again.

I took my partner here as a surprise dinner. The food was amazing the servers was professional and quick. They also had live music which really added to the atmosphere

Came for Sunday roast today.Greeted at the door with a warm welcome and beautiful smile. Shown to the table which was near a heater ( good choice)Ordered the margarita cocktails, they were amazing, small critique- half the rim had salt other didn’t. Only minor thing.Ordered the starters, prawns and pate.Beautiful very well presented as you can see in photos. Tasted amazing.Main course 1 lamb 1 pork.Lamb was perfectly cooked and plenty on the plate. The pork was a good serving (mini joint).Both tasted phenomenal the veg and the roasters and parsnip were bang on. And the Yorker, just what was needed.Deserts Eaton mess and crème brûlée. WowI’ll just have lamb and brûlée next time it was amazing. We will deffo be back.Staff were friendly and actually wanted to work unlike most staff in the industry.Ego @ the Pomeroy 5*We will return see you soon

We had a great time and the food was fantastic. It was me & my wife's anniversary and we loved the extra touch they did with putting roses and a candle on the table.

We did not book a table but we're no made to feel a problem. The restaurant was busy. Good freshly cooked. We both had the lemon chicken with a lovely sun blush tomato salad. Friendly and helpful staff. A relaxed, no rushed atmosphere.

A lovely seating area outside and a vibrant atmosphere sure to make you feel welcome. Food wise I’d recommend the Sunday roast and brownies. It’s fun for kids too with colouring sheets provided and a lovely kids menu. Would certainly recommend.

Food was great. Unfortunately we could not linger to enjoy dessert and coffee due to a family emergency but the staff were very helpful in difficult circumstances. Thank you!
