Cherry Burton Leisure Park

It feels like a lot of love is going into this site by the family who run it.Toilets and showers are amazing. It feels like you're in an alpine lodge.Hardstanding pitch with your own tap, which was an added bonus.There is a bar on site that opens on Fridays and Saturdays. There is a good selection of drinks and not overpriced. We were lucky to hit a weekend when they had a band on, which was great. They also do pizzas, which, although we didn't have any, we spoke to other campers, and they said they were lovely. The bar is also dog friendly, which for us was an added bonus.Well done to all at Cherry Burton. Keep up the hard work. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

This looks like it was once a very pretty well kept site but unfortunately not anymore. We were here 3 days only saw owner once when he needed paying. No information no security gate any one could come and go. All the flower tubs full of weeds. Shower rooms very nice but don't expect hot or even warm water it is cold only 4 rooms and shower not working in one. No opening times for bar or pizza oven which are in a marquee not permanent building. Looks like a building yard at the side. . Lots of road noise. For what they charge you can go somewhere much better. Local village and pub in village great.

Enjoyed our weekend at this site. The weather was good to us. Only downsides were toilets /showers which are beautiful and clean but a bit of a walk for anyone with mobility issues or even in a wheelchair, as access is over pebbles or grass. Also the xlarge wheelie bins over filled making that the lids wouldn't close. Dreaded going to toilets late on as I could envisage rats scurrying round the bins.The marquee was great for a drink and a light meal. Friendly staff and people we met.A nice quiet site with tents, tourers Bell tents & lodges. Nice and quiet at night.No play area for kids altho some played on what was supposedly a non used golf course.Nice for a weekend but not any longer for us.
